Scholarship spotlight: Sarah Janikowski worked at Unity for 4 years as a flex employee in Health Information Services while attending college. She received the UMCF scholarship when she was completing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2025 and recently completed her first year working as an SLP at UMC Rehab Services. While at Unity, Sarah also acquired a certification in LSVT Loud, a voice therapy program for individuals to learn to speak louder, clearer and with greater confidence. Scholarship spotlight: Sara Riskey has been with Unity for 8 years and currently serves as Director of Radiology. Sara received the UMCF scholarship in 2022 when she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Healthcare Management. Since then, she has become a Certified Radiology Administrator and was recently published due to a grant she received for ProAqCT software. Scholarship spotlight: Jenny Holand is currently the Chief Nursing Officer and has been with Unity for 10 years. Jenny was working on a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management when she received a UMCF scholarship and recently completed her degree in December of 2025. Jenny also holds a certification as a Rural Health Chief Nursing Officer. Congratulations, Jenny, and thank you for your leadership and dedication to UMC.❤
