💊 Are you interested in becoming Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) certified to order, dispense, and administer long-acting injectable buprenorphine (LAI-B) for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)?

NCAP is currently recruiting pharmacies interested in participating in a statewide REMS certification initiative from May - September 2026.

LAI-B products, such as BRIXADI ® and SUBLOCADE ®, are increasingly becoming first-line therapy for OUD. With pharmacists in North Carolina now authorized to administer LAIs, pharmacies can play a critical role in improving access to care and supporting recovery within their communities.

🤝 NCAP will work alongside participating pharmacies to help streamline and support the REMS certification process every step of the way.

Together, pharmacists can help reduce treatment barriers, support recovery, and make a meaningful impact in addressing the opioid epidemic across North Carolina.
