***BIG NEWS***
Papa is DONE with chemotherapy pills...WOO HOO. Papa has completed his intense year long treatment plan. I am SO proud of him & the mental / physical strength he has shown during this fight for his life. Nothing has slowed him down!
Moving forward, scans will happen every 2 months to keep a close eye on things.
Please join me in celebrating this AWESOME DAY & show Papa the support / love ❤️

Papa couldn't be happier celebrating his 73rd birthday with a prime rib and glass of wine. Papa defied all odds. Only 2 more rounds of chemo pills (Jan & Feb) left. This birthday is one of many more to come. Keep fighting the fight Papa. You are an inspiration to all that know you. Love you xoxo

(Sorry it's been awhile since I posted).
Papa went for his 3rd MRI scan and results look GREAT. Medical Oncologist Dr Vredenburgh couldn't be happier with the results. NO enhancement! NO regrowth! NO changes! Dr Vredenburgh mentioned the cancer most likely would have shown up by now on a scan if it was going to come back & be resistant to treatment. Papa just started his 7th cycle of TMZ chemotherapy pills & doing well. It's nice he is able to administer this treatment at home. Papa's MG Neuro Oncologist Dr Dietrich said my Dad falls into the 10th percentile of people who have this extremely rare brain cancer (Gliomatosis Cerebri) and see improvements. As you can see from the photo, my Dad looks great & he continues to fight the fight everyday. PAPA STRONG 💪
