Hello! This is Dr Lesa and I wanted to let my clients know that although it wasn’t initially planned to retire early, my daughter is having a baby and she lives in Wisconsin and so I am going to move there so that I can be a hands-on grandma 😁
I have found an amazing woman that I believe was sent to me as a gift, as I would not just allow anybody to take over my patients, many of whom I have known for 29 years.
Below is a quick letter from the new doc who will be caring for patients in the beginning of the new year:

Hi! I’m Dr. Hailey Watkins, (I’ll be going by Dr. Hailey) and I’m thrilled to be joining the Absolute Health Chiropractic family here in my hometown of Grand Haven!

I was born and raised right here in Grand Haven and graduated from Grand Haven High School before heading north to Lake Superior State University, where I played four years on the Division II Women’s Golf Team. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Rehabilitation Sciences, which helped shape my passion for movement, recovery, and performance.

My journey into chiropractic care began after a low back injury that sidelined me from golf. Having received chiropractic care since childhood, I knew what I needed to get back to full strength. A local chiropractor who worked with NCAA athletes helped me return to the sport I loved—and that experience inspired my career path, (more on that later).
Following graduation, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic—the same alma mater as Dr. Seales—and graduated in March 2023. Since then, I’ve worked in a sports chiropractic office in Grand Rapids and completed a residency at a Veterans Hospital in Ohio, where I gained experience caring for a wide range of patients.

I’m beyond excited to return home and continue serving the Grand Haven community while helping Dr. Seales transition into her well-earned retirement. I can’t wait to meet you all and support your health, movement, and wellness goals!!

Meet Chief Hutch, a Belgian Malinois and combat assault dog who proudly served with SEAL Team Four. Trained to detect explosives and other dangerous materials, Chief Hutch worked alongside Naval Special Warfare operators for five years, deploying twice to East Africa.

This , we’re honoring his years of loyal service and celebrating his well-earned retirement. In 2023, Chief Hutch was adopted by his handler, beginning a new chapter filled with comfort, care, and the same steadfast bond forged in service.
