For all families who have kids attending the Ron Brown football camp this Saturday before the Nebraska Siege game…Here is more info as to how families can purchase tickets to sit with your kids at the game after the camp.

Side note…Our YMCA Flag football halftime game has been moved to the game on June 27th.

FYI: for the Jr camp this weekend, we have a similar process. Doors will open at the main entrance by the ticket booths at 3:00. kids will be given a coupon and directed with their parent to the ticket booth to immediately get their tickets for the game. Parents can buy what they want and the kid’s ticket will be with theirs. They can then proceed to the east entrance of our field. This gives the families early access to ticketing and saves them having to stand in line when they finish at 5:30. They will be able to simply go to their seats after.

The response to our family in need following the St. Libory tornado, has been amazing! Your generosity and compassion has meant so much to this family. At this time, the family’s needs are taken care of and the family requests that further donations be given to other’s in need from this disaster. Thank you again for supporting our Y Family!

Going forward, one of the most beneficial ways to help the affected families will be through monetary donations or gift cards. This allows families to purchase the exact items they need as they need them. These donations can be brought to the St. Libory Fire Hall or the Howard County Sheriff's Office where they will be split between the families involved.

Gift cards for grocery stores, gas stations, home improvement stores and general retail stores can make a major difference in helping them rebuild.

A pretty heavy day out here at the tornado disaster area by St. Paul. The toughest part is finding family photos of our YMCA daycare family in another house way east of where their house was as I helped clear out that place…And walking back up the other house to give them the photos I found at another destroyed house. Ugh…Pretty emotional stuff out here along with a lot of strength and faith. 🙏💔
