Lakeview Nursing & Rehab is excited to introduce Misty Kastl, our Marketing Director & Hospital Liaison!

Misty is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) with a passion for connecting with seniors, families, and healthcare professionals. Outside of work, she’s a wife, mom of four, and loves spending time with her family on their farm.

You’ll find Misty out and about around Grand Island, building relationships, sharing all that Lakeview has to offer, and of course… passing out goodies! 💛

She’s all about making referrals Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy! 🍋

🇺🇸 A special request turned into something meaningful at Lakeview!

One of our residents shared a wish for a new flagpole and American flag for our facility, and our wonderful veterans in the Grand Island community stepped up to make it happen.

Now, our new flag proudly flies at Lakeview! 🇺🇸

We are incredibly grateful to the veterans who helped make this resident’s request a reality. It means so much to our residents, staff, and especially the veterans we are honored to care for.

Thank you for your service, your generosity, and for continuing to show up for your community. ❤️🤍💙

Nate brings an infectious smile, a positive attitude, and an amazing sense of humor to work every single day. His upbeat personality creates an environment where therapy feels encouraging, enjoyable, and even fun.

As we walk through the halls, residents often stop to tell us that they look forward to therapy because Nate always makes them laugh and brightens their day. His ability to connect with residents and make them feel comfortable is truly something special.

We are so fortunate to have Nate as part of our team. His compassion, positivity, and dedication make a lasting impact on the lives of our residents and everyone around him.

🌟 Congratulations, Sharon! 🌟

When Sharon was admitted to Lakeview SNF following a hospital stay with multiple medical complications, she required total assistance with her daily cares and mobility. Even sitting at the edge of her bed was a challenge due to significant balance deficits.

Now, as she approaches her 100th day at Lakeview, Sharon's determination and hard work have led to an incredible transformation. Through her dedication to therapy, she has progressed to requiring only standby assistance with mobility using a walker and is now independent with most activities of daily living.

Sharon is preparing to return to her private residence, where she can once again enjoy the independence she worked so hard to regain. Her perseverance has been inspiring to our entire team, and it has truly been a joy to be part of her journey.

Congratulations, Sharon! We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and wish you all the best in this exciting new chapter. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your recovery story! ❤️
