๐ข I HEARD THE CLICK, CLICK, CLICKโฆ AND I KNEW SOMETHING WAS COMING.
This morning while I was spending time with the Lord, talking to Him about this transitional season, He gave me a picture.
I saw myself sitting in an old-fashioned roller coaster.
I wasn't flying down the track yet.
I was climbing.
Slowly.
Click. Click. Click. Click.
And with every click, the coaster was connecting to the track, moving higher and higher toward the top.
And I could FEEL it.
That fluttering in your stomach when you know you're getting close.
Excitement.
Expectation.
Anticipation.
And yesโฆ a little nervousness.
Not fear.
Just that feeling of knowing something is about to happen, while having absolutely no idea what it's going to look like.
And I felt the Lord say:
There are people in the Body of Christ who are in the CLICK, CLICK, CLICK season.
You've been seeking Him.
You've been humbling yourself.
You've been praying.
You've been pressing in.
You've been obeying.
You've been waiting.
And sometimes you've wondered, โGod, when is something actually going to MOVE?โ
But what if the clicking isn't a sign that nothing is happening?
What if it's the sound of God positioning you?
What if every click has been another step upward?
Because here's what happens on a roller coaster:
You can spend what feels like forever climbingโฆ
and then suddenly you reach the top.
Everything changes in a moment.
The slow climb becomes movement.
The waiting becomes acceleration.
The anticipation becomes EXPERIENCE.
And I believe some of you are getting very close to the top. ๐ฅ
โBehold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?โ โ Isaiah 43:19
When it happens, it may move FAST.
You may feel excitement.
You may feel nervousness.
You may feel your stomach flip a few times. ๐
You may even think, โLord, I prayed for thisโฆbut WHOA!โ
But remember this:
The speed of the ride does not mean God has lost control of it.
He was God during the slow climb.
He'll still be God during the sudden acceleration.
And the same God who secured you during every click, click, click knows exactly where the track leads.
So maybe this isn't the season to grip the bar in fear.
Maybe it's time to lift your hands and ENJOY THE RIDE. ๐๐ข๐ฅ
You've prayed.
You've prepared.
You've pressed in.
You've waited.
Now trust the One who built the track.
โTrust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.โ โ Proverbs 3:5โ6
I don't know who this is for today, but if you've been feeling that strange combination of expectation + excitement + nervousness, maybe you're hearing the clicking too.
Click. Click. Click.
Don't despise the climb.
You may be closer to the top than you realize.
๐ข GET READY. AND WHEN THE RIDE BEGINSโTRUST GOD AND ENJOY IT.
