TATTOOS: Healing time: 2-4 weeks
Supplies needed: Anti-bacterial soap, antibotic ointment and a mild skin lotion
Remove bandage as soon as you get home. Dry the area, let air dry for a couple minutes, than apply a very thin coat of antibotic ointment. Additional Considerations: Avoid sunburn, salt or chlorine water, hot tubs and lakes until your tattoo is completely healed. If scabbing occurs,
do not pick or rub off. You can apply a mild skin lotion to keep it from flaking, too. Seek medical attention if you develop a fever or area becomes painful or infected after you are tattooed. Any concerns or questions, please contact us. PIERCING AFTERCARE:
Healing times: Navels: 2-12 months Lip/Labret: 2-6 months
Nose: 2-12 months Eyebrow: 2-3 months Earlobe: 4-6 weeks
Ear Cartilidge: 3-12 months Tongue: 1-2 months Genital: 1-12 months
Supplies Needed: Anti-bacterial soap, non-iodized sea salt. For Tongues:
For Lip/Labret or Tongue piercings: an antiseptic mouth rinse
Instructions: Always wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap before you touch piercing. Using a cotton swab and warm water, remove any crusty matter from piercing and jewelry. Lather up jewelry, and piercing, then move jewelry back and forth, making sure soap gets inside the piercing. Finally, rinse the piercing really good, moving the jewelry back and forth to get soap out of piercing. Do not use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or ointment on piercing. Do not put anything on it. Cleaning it with soap in the morning and at night time is enough. If you get crusties during the day, take a cotton swab and water and remove them. For Lip/Labret: you should use an antiseptic to rinse your mouth for 30 seconds. Do this 4-6 times a day (after big meals, after cigs, and after finishiing a soda or juice. Once when you get up, and always before bed.) Some mouth washes need to be diluted.. a bottle of water, poured half out and filled up with an antiseptic mouth wash is what we recommend to use for healing. Wash the outside of the lip/labret (on the skin) with an anti-bacterial soap, using the instructions above as reference. Additional Considerations: Make no oral contact with your piercings, for atleast 3 months. Don't be rough or touch new piercings. Do not try to change your jewelry until recommended healing time is complete. Changing too early can cause infections and improper healing. Seek medical attention if fever arises or piercing becomes infected or painful after being pierced. Any questions or concerns, please contact us at 616-225-5110 or 616-451-TATT
