3 Days. Dozens of Lectures. One Overarching Theme: Human Potential.
I just wrapped up three days at Dave Asprey’s BEYOND Biohacking Conference in Austin — one of the premier events in longevity, performance, and consciousness.
A few themes that stood out:
🔹 Muscle is the organ of longevity.
Dr. Gabrielle Lyon made it clear: the real epidemic isn’t obesity — it’s declining skeletal muscle health. Muscle quality influences everything from insulin sensitivity and cardiovascular health to cognitive function and independence as we age.
🔹 Purpose may be the ultimate biohack.
Jay Shetty reminded us that achievement without purpose often leads to emptiness. Presence, meaning, and authentic connection remain critical — especially in a world full of distractions.
🔹 Relationships are biology in action.
John Gray explored how testosterone, estrogen, oxytocin, and dopamine shape the way we connect, communicate, and maintain healthy relationships.
🔹 The body wants to heal.
From stem cells and peptides to hyperbaric oxygen and mitochondrial support — the throughline was this: give the body the right environment, and its healing potential is remarkable.
🔹 The future of health is proactive, not reactive.
The focus wasn’t on treating disease. It was on building capacity, resilience, and healthspan before problems arise.
Optimal health isn’t found in a single supplement or protocol. It’s built through strength, nutrition, recovery, sleep, relationships, purpose, and self-awareness — the same principles we work on with our members every day at Body By Choice.
The tools evolve. The mission doesn’t:
Cultivating The Gift of Life.
