Accessibility details matter. 👏

The restrooms at Acrisure Amphitheater are in great shape, easy to locate, and include several accessible stalls. We also appreciate the indicator system above each stall — green lights indicate availability and red lights indicate occupancy, making it easier for guests to navigate the space efficiently.

Thoughtful features like these can make a big difference in creating a more accessible experience for everyone.

As part of Absolutely Accessible West Michigan, we had the opportunity to take our guest speakers on a tour of the Meyer May House — one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic architectural works.

It was a wonderful chance to explore design, history, and accessibility conversations together in such a unique and inspiring space.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park now has a new 1,100-foot accessible boardwalk, allowing wheelchair users and visitors of all abilities to experience the falls up close and enjoy the views in a whole new way. A great reminder of how thoughtful design can open doors (and trails!) for everyone. Read more here:

A new 1,100-foot accessible boardwalk is officially open at Tahquamenon Falls State Park, giving those using wheelchairs a chance to see the falls up close.

Thank you to Emily Scarlett for helping us introduce the "Access for All" sticker and Aidan VanDoren, the designer of the sticker. Aidan's design helps everyone realize how many others use or could use the blue button access, too.

Aidan Van Doren, a recent West Michigan college grad, is spearheading a movement for inclusive design, emphasizing accessibility benefits for everyone.

After Janice returned home from the hospital and rehab, Reggie wasn’t sure where to turn for help finding the equipment and support they needed.

Through our Home Accessibility Services, Janice has regained confidence and independence in her daily life. đź’™

We’re grateful Reggie and Janice recently shared their story with us in a new video — coming soon!
