Brooklyn came to me with a very loose idea and a lot of creative freedom and trust for their first tattoo. This piece is symbolizing recovery and the ever continuous process of it and how we all strive to be better; reaching forward toward the portal, to life and growth.

This is just a glimpse into what inspired the sleeve that we just finished recently and can’t wait to share more of the story behind that one too!

BUTTERFLY KNIFE 🦋🔪 • It is such an honor to be trusted with such important pieces! This is a memorial piece for their father, taking his rare Bali song butterfly knife, model 54 - tanto specifically and their favorite butterfly the mourning cloak and blending them together! Such a beautiful way to show they will be together forever still.

There father owned a rare model 54 - tanto butterfly knife, which is stunning to say the least and we paired it with a mourning cloak butterfly in memoriam of him! ORCHID MANTIS • Custom piece inspired by my style and their love for praying mantis’s 🤩 We split this into three sessions since it was their first full color piece!

I’ve never really defined my specific style because I like to focus on a few different ones and stay open to trying new things always! But I really do love creating neo-realism pieces like this!
