Thank you again to the Latina Network of West Michigan Ay Mi Madre affinity group for co-hosting this healing community event, to our co-facilitator and yoga instructor, Karolina DeLange, and to all the women in attendance who co-created a space of connection, authenticity, and wellness. Here at Yarrow Joy Wellness our model for wellness includes community, and last week's event was a great example of creating intentional space to practice together. Shout out to Blandford Nature Center for the space & basil plants gifted to each person, and to the Grand Rapids Neighborhood Match Fund for providing resources to keep programming free and accessible.

Sis… this is your reminder that wellness is not a luxury. It’s a practice. 🌿✨

Tomorrow evening, we’re gathering in community beneath the trees for Grounding In Nature: An Evening of Connection & Wellness at Blandford Nature Center — co-facilitated by Stacy Stout and Karolina DeLange and co-hosted by Yarrow Joy Wellness + the Latina Network of West Michigan’s Ay Mi Madre community.

This evening is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with yourself, and be held in community with other women. Expect grounding practices, reflection, movement, connection, and the healing presence of nature.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or simply in need of space to exhale… this is for you.

✨ Only 4 spots remain, and registration is required: Reserve your spot at https://LNWMGroundinginNature.eventbrite.com

We would love to share this space with you. 🤎

This gathering for women is about slowing down, practicing grounding techniques, reflection, and connection.

For the women who give and give… this one’s for you! Join us May 19!

At Yarrow Joy Wellness, we believe in the healing power of nature and being in right relationship with the natural world. Excited to facilitate this space of learning, connecting, and community this Saturday in partnership with those in attendance and by invitation of Our Mental Health Collective!

🌱 Come home to the land. Come home to yourself.

We’re gathering on Saturday, March 28th for a restorative afternoon designed with and for BIPOC mental health and wellness providers.

This time is for YOU.

Led by the brilliant Stacy Stout, CEO of Blandford Nature Center and founder of Yarrow Joy Wellness, this 2-hour experience invites you to slow down, step outside, and reconnect with the natural world through ancestral frameworks and herbal practice.

You’ll leave with:

✨ A deeper sense of your own grounding and wellbeing
✨ Community with fellow BIPOC providers who get it
✨ Renewed inspiration for culturally rooted healing

This is an affirming, brave space created exclusively for Black, Indigenous, Asian, African, Latine, and other communities of color providers. You’ll affirm your identity during registration.

An early start this morning with the board of trustees and team from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation — opening their weeklong learning journey, acknowledging the land, original people, and exploited/stolen labor that have shaped the communities we experience today. This is a reflective and accountability practice to ground us in place and truth. And we all know that acknowledgment, without intentional and meaningful action to right wrongs, is insufficient.
đź’š I entered the space rooted in love and hope. Love for our good-hearted ancestors, whom I asked to be present in support of the learning ahead. And love for the brilliance of the community they will encounter and learn from this week.
✨ And hope—hope for what may emerge through reflection, connection, and shared experience.
I closed with a reminder that alongside equitable/liberated systems, communities also need joy, celebration, and restoration to thrive.
🪴 Beautiful energy to begin the week. Grateful to have been a part of it.

🌱💚 Honored to partner with Our Mental Health Collective to co-create a learning and healing space for BIPOC wellness practitioners on March 28.

So much intention is guiding this gathering — rooted in community care, traditional ways of knowing, and ancestral wisdom.

Rooted in love and purpose. đź’š
