Our heart is often seen as the seat of intuition — the place within where we can listen deeply and remember who we truly are.

Join us for a morning of connection and embodiment as you enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao, lovingly hand-crafted by Somatic Wisdom Institute lead teacher, Ryan DeLuca. Ryan will guide you through a gentle breath and embodiment practice to quiet the mind and soothe the nervous system, followed by a guided meditation into your heart space — an invitation to reconnect with yourself and your life.

This heart-centered class is offered monthly in our Eastown studio.

We’re feeling so much excitement as we prepare to welcome Leah’s teachers from Guatemala to be with us later this month.

You’re warmly invited to spend an evening with Jaya and Hayley, sharing in songs of devotion, community satsang, and contemplative practices. It will be a special opportunity to be together in presence and connection.

📍The Hive in Sparta

This public event is open to all, offering a blend of deep presence, world chants and devotional songs, meditative silence, and contemplative talks on the teachings of the Forest Path.

We’ll open with an hour or so of singing songs from our ceremonial study, followed by a talk from Jaya on “the Medicine of Presence”, leading into a group meditation. We’ll close the night with an opening for questions and heart-felt discussion.

Optional: bring a suit and a salad topping for our communal salad bar…enjoy time for community, song, hot tub, cold tub, and sauna after the session.

✨Join us for a transformative breathwork ceremony where we’ll honor cacao and breathwork to reach a new state of awareness. This is a powerful way to release stress, let go of limiting beliefs, and clear out any stuck and stagnant energy.

✨Let your breath guide you inward to a non-ordinary state that unlocks congestion in your physical, mental and energetic body.

✨Sink into a relaxing sound bath with gongs, singing bowls and soothing percussion. The sound vibration will help you unwind, realign and find a deep sense of wellbeing. These powerful breathwork sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, your body, and your intuition. It’s a chance to let go of what isn’t serving you and embrace your true self.

✨Stay after hours for community integration: a light dinner, sauna, hot & cold tubs.

✨These ceremonies offer a way home—back to yourself, your body, and the deep knowing that lives within you.

✨Step into a sacred evening woven with intention, sisterhood, and soul nourishment. This women’s ceremony invites you to journey inward through the heart-opening spirit of ceremonial cacao, the liberating rhythm of the breath, and the soothing waves of sound.

✨We’ll begin by grounding into presence and honor a cup of ceremonial cacao—crafted with love and prayer—to awaken the heart and invite a deeper sense of connection to yourself and the women around you. From there, you’ll be guided into a breathwork practice that gently dissolves tension, clears energetic stagnation, and opens pathways for life force to move freely once again.

✨Later, you’ll be invited to rest back and receive a meditative sound bath—an immersive experience of vibration and frequency that encourages integration and deep nervous system restoration. The tones of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments will help you slip into a state of stillness, where your body can remember its innate harmony.

✨This evening is a portal for renewal—a chance to return home to your essence, to remember your wholeness, and to connect heart-to-heart with a circle of women walking the same sacred path.

✨Join us Wednesday, May 13th from 6:30–8:00pm for a gentle and illuminating 90-minute online session exploring the Medicine Wheel as a powerful map for the cycles of life.

✨This simple yet profound framework helps us understand the seasons we move through in our growth, relationships, work and inner world, offering insight into where we are, what may be shifting and what is being asked of us.

✨Together, we’ll learn the foundational structure and directions of the Wheel, explore how it relates to life transitions and reflect on where you may find yourself right now, all while engaging in simple guided practices to connect this wisdom to your own lived experience.

✨No prior experience is needed. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of orientation and a grounded tool you can return to as life continues to unfold.

✨These teachings draw from Cherokee and Lakota lineages, and we offer them with deep gratitude, humility and respect for the Indigenous elders and lineage holders who have carried this wisdom forward.

We are overjoyed to welcome our dear friend and teacher, Matia Kalli, for her very first concert in Grand Rapids! Many of you know Matia through her powerful vocal workshops and in ceremony — and now we have the rare gift of experiencing her live performance as she shares new music from her new album, Heart Songs!

Matia is a Greek-American singer and songwriter whose music carries the spirit of jazz, R&B, and devotional song. With roots in sacred healing songs, mantras, and chants, her voice is both medicine and celebration — spanning from ethereal whistle tones to rich, soulful depths. She has traveled the world with The Hanuman Project and inspired countless communities with her kirtan, group singing, and medicine music.

This evening will be a joyful, heart-opening gathering of song, sound, and celebration. Together, we’ll witness the beauty of her artistry and join in the collective energy of music that uplifts and unites.

✨ Come ready to listen, to feel, and to be moved. ✨
