2026 updated shop policies for Hybrid Ink! Posted and pinned for all clients to review before booking

PLEASE READ THROUGH POLICIES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT!

Booking your appointment:

•Deposits will be 50% of your tattoo if the value is $100 or less. Or the deposit will be between $50-100 depending on overall cost.
•Shop minimum $75
•Hourly rate $110
•Deposits are non refundable!
•Pieces are either at a set price for individual pieces, or set hourly for sleeve work. 1 hour deposit of $110 required to book for sleeve work.
•Accepted forms of payment will include PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Cash, Facebook Pay. Only payments made through "friends and family" on PayPal or Venmo are accepted, not under "goods and services" (fees otherwise charged against the total of the tattoo will have to be covered). This information of payments is for both deposits and final payments made after each session.
•deposits are required to get on the schedule, if there is no deposit paid, you have not been added to our schedule.
•references: send references of the style, subject, font, quote etc. you want, the more details given, the better results we will have. References can be sent during inquiry.
•final product: due to volume of appointments and for security of the appointment and the art. A rough mock up of the tattoo can be provided upon request, but the final image will not be sent over prior to the appointment. We can make final changes if necessary, day of.
•drawing up the tattoo before you book: this is an absolute no, we will not take time out of our schedule to draw up a tattoo for you to decide if you want to book. We have our portfolios posted with all of our work, that will speak for what we can do, and based off of our previous work, you should be able to decide if you want to book with us.
•messaging: up until even the day before we may reach our to you to gather some last minute details about your tattoo, just to be sure we have everything we need once we've gotten to the final details of the stencil. Like a final quality check to ensure nothing is left out.

Pre appointment care:

•when preparing for your tattoo please be mindful of what you put in your body, blood thinners, antibiotics, alcohol, caffeine (energy drinks more specifically) can all be detrimental to your tattoo appointment. If your blood is too thin, the blood will push the ink out of the skin, it will not hold, touch ups due to this will not be free, and more touch ups may be likely as a result of poor pre tattoo care.
•make sure to get a good night sleep before your appointment, that can affect your whole day. Also be sure to eat breakfast and bring snacks for longer sessions.
•if you have any conditions you fear may interrupt with your tattoo appointment let the artist known up front. Any bleeding, eating, or neurological disorders need to be addressed prior to the needle touching the skin. This is not a place of judgement, and your health is the top priority, precautions need to be made in cases where an emergency may happen. We don't want you going unconscious and not knowing why. Even if you're just anxious for your tattoo, and you feel like youre going to "pass out" let us know.

Day of appointment:

•Please arrive no more than 5-10 minutes early. We will be ready right at our scheduled time. If the door is locked (morning appointment), it will be opened at the scheduled appointment time (ex: 10am appt. Doors open at 10).
•Must have valid ID, 18+, not expired. This includes: ID, Real ID, Drivers license, Passport, Military ID, or tribal ID with photo. No other forms of identification will be accepted per Oregon law.
•Late policy: you will get a confirmation the day before your appointment making sure you can still come in at the scheduled day and time. If you do not respond by the morning of (up to an hour before your appointment), your appointment will be cancelled. If you fail to show up, or you confirm and no show, you will lose your deposit and have to reschedule and your deposit amount will increase. If you are late to your appointment, it will be an additional $10 for every 15 minutes you are late, up to an hour, if you are over an hour late, your appointment will be cancelled and a new deposit is required.
•Friends: you can bring 1-2 guests with you if previously discussed with your artist. There is limited seating and space in the tattoo studio, and a crowded room makes for a longer more difficult session. It is advised to carefully choose who you bring with you; only bring someone who will be supportive of your choices, and not make you second guess things like style, subject, placement. They should be there for support, your artist will guide you with the rest, that is our job to ensure the best result possible for your tattoo. Your friend/ family shouldn't make any decision for you, it is your body, and your tattoo.
•NO KIDS- the tattoo shop is no place for kids, it is boring for them, there are biohazards in our work area, things they are not allowed to touch that need to remain sterile, and overall they can be very distracting to both the artist and the client. The exception to this rule is any child at least 12+ years old that can remain seated and be respectful of the studio. This is on a case by case basis, but general rule is no kids, if you can't find a sitter we will have to schedule for a day you are free. Bringing someone with you to watch a child will also not work for the studio. Please make arrangements prior to your appointment. (This is not a valid excuse to reschedule and keep your deposit. If you have to reschedule due to child care, a new deposit is required.)
•snacks: you can bring food and drinks in with you, there will be a place to store them if needed. Please refrain from energy drinks, they can cause excessive bleeding and negatively affect the tattoo. Candy is available for free, and snacks/ drinks are also available for sale.

Rescheduling/cancellations/no-shows:
•if you need to reschedule with a valid reason prior to your appointment, you will need to do so within 72 hours of your appointment (3 days). It is no problem to reschedule you within this time frame and we can get you re-placed on the schedule. If you have to reschedule within the 3 days for an emergency we will work with you to resolve the issue, you may be allowed to roll over your deposit within a 1 month period, after that, a new deposit will be required to book. If you do not have a valid excuse for missing your appointment, message less than 3 hours before that you will not becoming, or you no show, you will forfeit the deposit. If this happens 3 times or more, you will be dropped as a client. Note that after the first no show, you are subject to a higher deposit amount to rebook. This is restarting the total for the overall cost of the tattoo, your previous deposit will not carry over.

We understand things happen out of our control some times, we will do our best to work with you, but within the limits of also still respecting ourselves and our work, we cannot rebook a lost appointment day of, the deposit makes up for the unused set up and time prepping.

Aftercare:

•second skin will be applied to the tattoo, leave on for 3-5 days to allow the tattoo to heal itself. Only take off prior to the 3-5 days if: bandage starts to peel, redness forms around the edges of the bandage(allergic reaction to aftercare adhesive), tattoo leaks from under second skin, if water is able to get under the bandage, or second skin begins to peel off. Ink sacks are normal and help the tattoo heal under the second skin, unless the barrier is compromised you can leave the bandage alone until instructed to remove it per aftercare sheet.
•A digital copy of our after care instructions will be sent to you via our most used form of communication when booking. A paper copy may be provided to you upon request.
•afrercare products are sold in shop, and additional second skin can be given upon request.
•Keep away from pets while healing. If you fear you may have an allergy to second skin, follow after care instructions beyond instructions of bandage removal. Second skin will not be applied if you think you might have an allergy to it prior to putting it on.
•Any questions you have, you can send us a message at any time and we will respond as soon as our schedule allows. Most likely hours of response will be between 9am-7pm most days.

Post appointment:

•Touch ups will be available; the first touch up will be free, if booked within 6 months of the tattoo appointment. Any touch up after 6 months will cost $30 to cover set up cost. This cost is non negotiable and can not be added to an existing appointments unless cleared with the artist, if approved the $30 will be added to the appointment total.

Our goal for our appointment is to have a smooth and relaxing session we will both enjoy. Knowing what to expect before coming in, will ensure your appointment is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Tattoo sessions are meant to be a time for you to enjoy yourself, and while pain comes along with the tattoo, that should be the only thing you have to anticipate. We want to make the tattoo process as seamless as possible. These policies are in place to get the bulk of the guess work out of the way, and make sure everyone is prepared for a great tattoo session ahead.

If you have any further questions about the appointment, not listed above, feel free to send us a message!

We look forward to working with you!
