A DIFFERENT WAY TO FIND SUPPORTS AT NORTH STAR
We understand how frustrating it can be to go through the paperwork, time, and energy of changing providers or allocating hours to a new agency only to find yourself sitting without a DSP while that agency starts looking for someone.
That’s why North Star Oregon offers another option.
If you’re interested in North Star but don’t have a DSP yet, you don’t have to allocate your hours to us just for us to start looking.
We can first have a conversation about what you’re looking for your schedule, location, interests, preferences, support needs, and what a great DSP match looks like for you.
Then we get to work looking for a potential DSP.
If we find someone you feel good about, pending a background check and other requirements, you can meet them and decide if they’re a good fit before you make the decision to allocate your hours to North Star.
We do this because we don’t want people moving their hours, completing paperwork, and making changes just to sit without supports while we search.
Already know you want to come to North Star? You’re absolutely welcome too!
You don’t have to wait for us to find a DSP first. If you’re ready to choose North Star, our team will work to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible.
Already have a family member, friend, or DSP you want providing your supports? We can help with that too. Our team works hard to make the DSP hiring and onboarding process quick and smooth so you can get services moving.
Finding a great DSP can sometimes take time. Location, schedule, hours, individual needs, and finding the right personality fit all matter.
I can’t promise I’ll find someone immediately. What I can promise is that I’ll work hard to find you a great potential match.
Whether you’re ready to come to North Star today or you simply want to have a conversation and see if we can find the right support first, we’re here to help.
Send us a message and let’s have a conversation.
