Troches are small lozenges that dissolves slowly in the mouth, allowing medication to be absorbed through the tissues inside your cheek. For some patients, they’re a comfortable alternative when swallowing pills is difficult or when a different dosage form better fits their treatment plan.

Because they’re compounded, each troche is made specifically for the individual patient and prescription.

That’s the beauty of compounding – creating medication that’s designed to fit the person, not expecting the person to fit the medication.
