✨ Maybe confidence isn't what you think it is.
We often think confidence means:
Never doubting yourself.
Never being afraid.
Always knowing what you're doing.
Walking into every room feeling completely sure of yourself.
But I don't think that's confidence.
I think confidence is trusting yourself even when you're unsure.
It's applying for the job even though you wonder if you're qualified.
It's speaking up even when your voice shakes.
It's setting a boundary even when someone might not like it.
It's trying something new without knowing exactly how it will turn out.
It's making a decision and trusting yourself to handle whatever comes next.
Confidence doesn't mean:
“I know I can do this.”
Sometimes confidence sounds more like:
“I don't know if I can do this… but I trust myself enough to try.” 💚
And that kind of confidence?
You don't have to be born with it.
You can build it.
One choice.
One boundary.
One brave step at a time.
What would you do differently if you trusted yourself just a little bit more?
