I'm horrible at this update thing. So much has been going on at once that I have totally forgotten about FB posts.
Since my last post, we decided to go through the Cornell system and its been like night and day. His kidney team has been top notch and they have guided us every step of the way to figure out what else is going on. So far we know he autoimmune system is fighting something and we are working to figure out what that is. His eGFR has gone back down, which is not good so I'm continuing the process of getting evaluated (I thought I had more time so I paused the process). This morning we are headed to the hospital for an endoscopy and testing to figure out why he's so nauseous every morning. His gastroenterologist and nephrologist don't think it's due to his kidneys so we need to figure that out first. As if that's not enough, he also got a huge hemorrhage in his right eye a few weeks ago so he's been essentially blind in one eye, so next week he will be having surgery to fix that. But through all this we know we are immensely blessed and we see a light at the end of the tunnel. Love you all!
