We are founded and run by two of Northern Colorado's best and most established therapists, with over 40 years of combined experience, as well as working mothers. They are intimately acquainted with the experience and struggles of both parents of children with delays/disabilities and of clinicians. We strongly believe that the foundation of great service begins with the genuine care, support, and respect of our service providers. Therefor we encourage every therapist in their endeavors for well being and maintaining a healthy work life balance. As summer approaches, routines often shift but small, simple activities at home can continue supporting your child’s progress.

Home exercise programs don’t have to feel overwhelming. A few minutes a day, built into what you’re already doing, can make a meaningful difference.

Here are a few easy ways to incorporate therapy into everyday routines:

☀️ Play with purpose: stacking blocks, puzzles or coloring to support fine motor skills.
☀️ Build movement into play: obstacle courses, jumping, climbing or playground time.
☀️ Practice communication: model words, give choices and pause to encourage responses.
☀️ Use daily routines: dressing, mealtime and cleanup are great opportunities to practice skills.
☀️ Keep it simple: consistency matters more than doing everything perfectly.

If you’ve been given a home exercise program, your therapist can help you adapt it to fit your family’s routine this summer.
