Back-to-school doesn't have to mean jumping straight into a perfect routine. π For some children, getting back into the rhythm of school takes time.
A few small, consistent steps can make the transition feel more manageable:
π Practice the morning routine before the first busy week.
π Keep wake-up and bedtime routines as consistent as possible.
π Let your child help choose clothes or pack their backpack.
π Break big tasks into smaller, predictable steps.
π Talk through what the day will look like before it happens.
And remember: progress doesn't have to be perfect to count. Every child adjusts differently. Give them, and yourself, a little room to settle in.
