Just because a piercing looks healed doesn’t mean it actually is 👀

One of the biggest mistakes people make is changing jewelry too early because:
✔ swelling is gone
✔ it doesn’t hurt anymore
✔ it “seems fine”

But cartilage piercings especially heal from the outside in — meaning the inside can still be healing long after it looks good externally.

Changing jewelry too soon can lead to:
❌ irritation bumps
❌ swelling
❌ delayed healing
❌ tenderness
❌ complications

This is also why downsizing your jewelry at the proper time is SO important 👏✨

It’s my birthday today and honestly… I did✨nothing✨ 😌👏

No schedules.
No rushing.
No multitasking.
No “Mom…?” every 12 seconds. 😂

Just existing.
Relaxing.
Probably overthinking what snack I want while ignoring responsibilities for a full 24 hours 💅✨

This past year stretched me in ways I never expected:

✨ starting college for my Business degree

✨ balancing motherhood amidst it all
✨ learning that rest is actually productive too

And for once… I’m letting myself slow down a little 🤍

Although let’s be honest…
I’ll probably still answer messages and think about studio ideas because apparently my brain doesn’t know how to fully clock out 😅

Things in my piercing and jewelry studio that just ✨make sense✨

One of the biggest reasons I opened my own piercing studio was to help change the experience people expect when they walk into one.

When I was younger, it was hard to find a place where I felt truly comfortable, respected, safe, and welcomed. I wanted to create a space that felt different.

A place where you can walk in and exhale.

A space that feels calm, cozy, uplifting, and genuinely inviting instead of intimidating or anxiety-inducing. Somewhere you feel taken care of the moment you walk through the door. 🤍

This studio was built with so much heart, intention, late nights, big dreams, and honestly… a whole lot of support from my incredible husband, who has stood beside me through every stressful moment, crazy idea, and emotional rollercoaster along the way 😅✨ I truly could not have done any of this without him.

More than anything, I just want Sparkle Studio to be a place where people leave feeling more confident, more empowered, and a little more sparkly than when they came in. ✨

This is more than piercings and jewerly to me.
It’s connection, creativity, self-expression, and creating an experience people actually enjoy 🤍
