Achievement Friday: Look who graduated two skill days of programming. He can now manage his own bank account, pays some bills in his own, lives in his own apartment and maintains it, and has a community job that he is independently managing without supports. Great job investing in a brighter future.

It’s important to help keep our community clean… today we spent the day cleaning up our neighborhood. The manager at Chick-fil-A saw us and gave us free lemonade as a thank you!!!! Thank you for the lemonade and bravo to our group for making a difference in the community!

Achievement Friday: Look 👀 who is now employed, first job opportunity always feels great to achieve. Best of luck, the hard work invested in job interviewing and learning bus system to get to location is so worth it!!!

Things to achieve this accomplishment:
1) Independent on living on own
2) Grocery Shops on own
3) Makes her own meals independently
4) Uses public transportation to access community verses formal transportation which is costly tax payer service
5) Community Employed in permanent position
6) Met all program goals.

You have established a true independent lifestyle that will set you up for long-term success. Be so proud of yourself.
