Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that provides adult day training, residential services, and employment opportunities to individuals with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities. Everything we do is centered around one key goal: to empower people to live their best life. With the full support of our experienced team, we implement a results-oriented plan of action that enables individuals living with differences to gain meaningful relationships, develop work and career skills, earn an income, achieve social independence, and even become homeowners.

Challenge Enterprises was proud to sponsor Clay County’s celebration of America’s 250th Birthday and honor the spirit of freedom, opportunity, and community that has shaped our nation since 1774.

Held at the historic 1890 Courthouse, the event brought together veterans, families, community leaders, and neighbors for a memorable day of reflection and celebration. As an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities, we are honored to support events that bring our community together and celebrate the values that unite us.

The end of 2026 marks both an ending and a beginning at Challenge Enterprises.

After 35 years of dedicated leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our mission, we celebrate the retirement of Katie Vineyard. Katie's impact on Challenge Enterprises, the people we serve, and our community will be felt for years to come. We extend our deepest gratitude for her service and wish her all the best in this well-deserved next chapter.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Greg Voss as the new Chief Executive Officer of Challenge Enterprises. Greg brings a passion for our mission and a commitment to building upon the strong foundation that Katie helped create. We look forward to the future under his leadership as we continue creating opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve greater independence and inclusion.

At Challenge Enterprises, we’re dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through meaningful work and personalized services. In partnership with the Florida Department of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), we offer a wide range of supports under the Medicaid Waiver Services Agreement. We are an approved vendor with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and may provide services to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) participants.

Through these partnerships and services, we help individuals develop skills, achieve greater independence, pursue employment opportunities, and reach their personal goals. Services include:

✅ ResHab Standard
✅ Supported Living Coaching
✅ Personal Supports
✅ Transportation

This , we've been sharing stories that highlight the value and talent of individuals employed through the Program, but those success stories are part of an even larger impact.

In FY25, more than 4,000 employment placements were achieved across SourceAmerica's nationwide network and the AbilityOne Program, creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build meaningful careers, gain independence, and contribute their talents in the workplace.

Through consistent job placements, employee retention, and high-quality service delivery, AbilityOne employees help provide the reliable products and services that customers count on every day. These outcomes demonstrate that inclusive employment benefits individuals, businesses, and communities alike.
