Meditation-That quiet place to come and discover a few tools to help calm some of the chaos—in the body, in the mind, in the soul.

Of course, we can meditate on our own. We can find a meditation online, sit in our favorite chair, or in my case, crawl into my sauna blanket and settle in.

But there is something really beautiful about practicing together.
Having a live person there to hold space for you.
To offer a little guidance
A little structure
A little consistency
And simply to remind you to come back to yourself

I have been thinking a lot about how much meditation has become a part of my own life.
Not because it is easy
And definitely not because it makes everything perfect
But because it gives me a place to pause

When I am in a meditation class, my only job is to be on my mat.
I can’t get up and change the laundry
Send the text
Clean the counters
Check one more thing off the list

I get to slow down
Notice my breath
Notice my body
Notice the places I’ve been holding for dear life

I spend so much of my day working from the neck up. Meditation gives me a chance to come back down into myself.
And yes… my mind is still a little crazy sometimes. I am absolutely not a master at clearing my mind.

That’s not really the point
The point is that we practice coming back
Coming back to the breath
Coming back to the body
Coming back to this moment

So Thursday evenings at 7:45 PM, I am teaching a meditation class for anyone who feels like they could use a little more space, a little more calm, and a little more presence in their life.

You don’t need to know how to meditate
You definitely don’t need to be “good” at it
We will simply sit, breathe, notice, and practice together

It would be lovely to sit together.
Thursday 7:45 PM
Come exactly as you are.

I’m over the moon with this month’s classes. Fall and its amazing energy unfolds this month. Meet me on your mat and let’s savor it all!

Tuesday mornings at 5:15am rise and shine with me for a 45 minute morning flow setting the tone for your day.

Thursday 90 minute vinyasa flow at 6:00pm. This class will have the same flow from week to week allowing you to become familiar with the poses, the flow, and the momentum of class. As you become more familiar it becomes a meditation in itself.

Thursday evenings at 7:45 join me for a 45 minute meditation. Time to find a comfortable spot with all of the things that support and nurture you.

Yin Yoga is a beautiful place to settle on a Sunday evening. This class uses props to help support you in poses. There is a give and take as you settle in to that just right space in each pose. Time to just be while we lengthen and release from our bodies and mind.

Friday September 18th is a special treat. A restorative yoga class with the options of energy work and ending with wine. Restorative classes are just what it says. Gentle poses that we settle into without anything else to do. The poses are selected to give your body a chance to relax without work. Your only job is to breathe. Reserve your spot today.

Your first class is free and we have several classes packages to explore.

We also are celebrating the studio with a buddy pass. Hop on over to Beauty & Bliss’s website or explore the packages on the mindbody app to learn more.

POUR & RESTORE
September 18 | 7:00–8:30 PM

This one is going to feel SO good.

Think bolsters, blocks, blankets, soft lighting, slow gentle movement and poses you get to completely melt into.

Jennifer will guide you through a cozy restorative yoga experience where the goal isn’t to stretch harder or do more, it’s to be supported enough to finally soften.

Then we’ll settle even deeper as Misty brings in energy work, helping quiet the noise, move some of what you’ve been carrying, and let your whole system unwind.

And then… we pour. 🍷

A glass of wine, something yummy, and a whole lot of unwinding, melting and letting go.

No rushing. No doing. No expectations.

Just an early fall evening to move a little, rest a lot, and pour a glass.

What do I love about a 90 minute class?

We hit all of the areas.

Start with centering and becoming present in the room with our bodies.

Then we build heat increasing our heart rate.

Strength builds in the poses as we go.

And just when the thoughts of ‘I can’t go anymore’ we head to the floor to lengthen and strengthen.

Finally, we settle in to a nice long integration and meditation time.

✅ be present in the moment
✅ cardio
✅ strength training
✅lengthening and core work
✅twisting and compression
✅integration and relaxation

All in one class

What are you holding on to?

There is a simple story from the Gita about a monkey who reaches into a clay pot to grab a peanut. His hand fits in easily while open, but once he closes his fist around the peanut, he can’t pull it back out.

He could let go.

But he won’t.

He holds so tightly that he is eventually captured.

Isn’t that us sometimes?

Holding on so tightly to something physical, emotional, mental, or somewhere in between-that we don’t even realize that holding is what keeps us stuck.

This is one of the things that speaks so deeply to me about Yin yoga.

Yin gives us time.

Time to settle into that sweet spot, the "Goldilocks" place I like to call it. The place between too much and not enough.

Time to stop pushing.

Time to stop fixing.

Time to simply be.

To be with sensations.

To be with the breath.

To notice what surfaces when the body becomes a little more still and the minds begins to settle.

And perhaps most importantly, to become aware of what we are holding.

Yin has changed my body, yes…but even more than that it has changed the way I move through life.

It gives me space to notice.

To soften.

To listen.

To loosen the grasp.

That is what makes Yin special to me.

So tonight, I invite you to come explore what happens on your mat when you give yourself permission to settle in, become somewhat still, and simply be.

Come support me as your instructor and allow me to support you.

Come as you are.
And maybe, just maybe, we will discover something we are ready to loosen our grip on.

How’s the mind chatter? A little louder than normal? A little harder to quiet??
One of the many gifts of a 90 minute practice is having time to slowly move out of the noise.

Come move.

Come breathe.

Come settle the body and quiet the mind with me tonight.

This is an open invitation to all bodies and all levels. Your practice is yours. Move when your body says move. Pause when it asks for stillness. Explore the variations that feel right for you.

Throughout our practice, you will have space to listen not to what you think you should do, but what your body is actually asking for.

AND we will close with an extra long svasana providing time to integrate, soften, breathe, and simply settle into stillness.

Nothing to accomplish.

Nothing to prove.

Just 90 minutes to calm the chatter and come home to you.

I would love to share this space with you tonight.

Whether you join me in the morning on your mat or not know that you can set an intention for the day, for yourself, or for someone else. My candle will do the rest.

Vinyasa flow at 5:15am Tuesday mornings

07/30/2026

An invitation to class tonight.

Don’t let the time be an excuse to not give it a go.

90 minutes allows for time.

Time to settle…
Time to breathe…
Time to soften…

An invitation to let go of all the heavy you’ve been carrying and simply be.

No expectations…
No perfect poses (because let me let you in on a secrete that doesn’t exist 😉)…
No need to keep pushing.

Just space to be…whatever that is.

You decide what class looks like for you as I will provide several options to explore as we move and find stillness.

All bodies.
All abilities.
All beings.
Exactly as you are.
