I seriously don’t know how we got here so fast. I can still see that cute little sweet girl you were, and now somehow you’re 21. 🥹

You have always been so much more than my daughter—you’re my best friend! I love the relationship you & Ella have and that you’ve always been best friends too. Watching you grow into the woman you are has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Having lived outside the United States, we learned something that only distance can truly teach—there is no place like home.

America isn’t perfect, but it is a nation built on freedom, opportunity, resilience, and hope. We are incredibly grateful to call this country home and never take that privilege for granted.

As owners of GenXTraining & Self Defense & proud members of the Green community, Chris and I are excited to partner with the City of Green to lead this fun, hands-on, beginner-friendly Women’s Self-Defense Workshop this Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM at The CORE. We’d love to see our friends, neighbors, and community there!

Build confidence and real-world awareness with our Self Defense IQ class, led by Generation X Training & Self Defense (GXT). This beginner-friendly program for adults ages 18+ helps you think through situations before they happen—learning how to assess, react, and move to safety with confidence.

Through hands-on practice and repetition, you’ll develop instincts, strength, and the awareness needed to respond effectively when it matters most.

Wear comfortable clothing and be ready to move!
