He is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether that means stepping in to support a coworker, taking on an extra task, or helping ensure the day runs smoothly for everyone. His positive attitude and dependable nature make a meaningful difference to those around him. Most importantly, Loren consistently keeps the well-being of our residents as his top priority, showing care, patience, and respect in the way he serves them. At Mill Pond Health Campus, we believe everyone deserves to live out their dreams! 🎉 Our dedicated nursing scheduler, Stephannie—Betty Jo’s best buddy—joined us as part of the Birthday Crew and to make Betty Jo’s Live A Dream extra special.
When we learned Stephannie loved horses but never had the chance to ride one, we stepped in! 🐴 Thanks to our friends at Lakeland Center, Inc. we surprised her with her very own Live A Dream ride. Seeing her smile and excitement was priceless!

In healthcare, it can become easy to be task-oriented. But healthcare is not transactional—it’s relational.
At Mill Pond, we strive to remember that our residents aren’t “at our work.” We work in their home. That simple perspective makes all the difference in how we care for them.
You’ll often find a CNA coming in on their day off simply to go with a resident on an outing, or a member of leadership doing a resident’s nails in her office while enjoying the one-on-one conversation that comes with it.
These moments may not be on a task list, but they are some of the most meaningful parts of what we do. They remind us that we aren’t just providing care—we’re building relationships, creating memories, and making Mill Pond feel like home.
