Hi, recovering perfectionist here 🙋🏽‍♀️

Ya girl knows a thing or two about overthinking, overanylzying & hiding away because it just doesn’t “feel right” yet.

Shifts started to really take root when I understood this was an ancestral wound I carried from the many women in my lineage that had to shape shift for their safety.

It’s not a flaw. It’s not a shameful thing to fix. 🔥It was smart protective layer that we get to heal.
🔥It’s a pattern we break through ancient memory that lives in our bodies.

Hands in the dirt, imperfect AF, through many many dark nights of the soul & somatics with my ancestors I started to unfurl🌺.

The root of not enoughness/ perfectionism is colonization and affirmations ain’t gonna heal it.

We hide behind shields of degrees, being the strong one, the one that needs nothing from no one. Underneath all that is just a need that wasn’t met and now our nervous system is doing its job trying to protect.

It’s time we let it know, it’s safe.
It’s time we went deep and healed with our ancestors by our sides.
It’s time we embody our abuelita’s strength.

Nothing like Pilates to humble your 🍑!!

How many times do we say, “yeah I’m all in!” But fear of falling, failing, stumbling is still holding you back?

It’s not a sign you are bad or faulty. On the contrary your nervous system is doing its job(to protect) but at some point you gotta take the reigns and tell it… “we are safe to try!”
