Not gonna lie…..
Sometimes I get caught up in the metrics.

Am I making enough?
Is my medicine landing?
Do people actually care?
Is this crazy?

But then I remind myself, these gifts weren’t by random. My abuelitas, my many ancestors before that prayed this path with their tears and grit so I could alchemize with a heart wide open. ❤️‍🔥

Sis, If you feeling not enough these days I implore you to ask yourself who’s measuring stick you are using. B/c your value isn’t measured by any man made metric. You’re way too amazing for a scale.

This isn’t rainbows and butterflies coming out of your butt wellness here..

Our bodies/ our nervous systems aren’t broken, they aren’t the enemies. They are responded appropriately to the dumpster fire that is our reality right now.

Overthinking, people pleasing, shutting down, feeling “stuck” are all ways your system is trying to protect you.

When these come online, recognize them as signs or cries from your inner niñita needing some support.

Would you leave a 4 year old crying if she had a tantrum? PROBABLY NOT.

So don’t bypass your little self and give her safety. Once safety is cultivated in the body then and only then can we make more aligned choices.

➡️3 ways I’m telling my soul clients to create safety this week:

🧘🏽‍♀️Yin yoga with your intention being: I am allowed to be a hot mess right now. Yin yoga slows the nervous system almost instantly, it’s like a heated blanket on a cold ass day.

💪🏽Check yourself before you wreck yourself basic 3: Ask yourself have I eaten enough today? Slept enough? Hydrated? If any of those are a no start there.

📚Cozy familiarity: watch a show that you have watched before (nothing that causes suspense homie) Think feel good childhood movie. Read a soothing book in your favorite spot in the house. Go to your favorite place in nature and talk to the trees (they are the best listeners!)

Healing isn’t about FIXING or SHAMING it’s about meeting yourself right where you are and building from there.

Our inner niñitas want to take up SPACE!

I love how my own offerings will always take me through the fire before I hold space for others.

Since receiving this download while I was in Thailand — to bring forth the theme "Take Up Mo' F'ing Space" — the universe has been testing me left and right, like, "Soooo... you gonna take up space or nah?!"

You bet your 🍑I did. LOL 😂

But it was uncomfortable. There were tears. I had to shed a little more of those old identities that were handed to me.

🙃The people pleaser — saying no always came with a side of guilt fries.

My favorite post of ALL TIME!!

You didn’t think I would celebrate my 40th with my elephant friends and not post about it did ya?! 🤪

My mom has the gift of prophetic dreams. She can see what I’m walking through before I do. Lately, I have been more in tune with this gift as well.
