Did You Know?
On July 4, 1914, Dodge City hosted the first major 300-mile motorcycle race in the United States, famously known as the Dodge City 300.
Sanctioned by the Federation of American Motorcyclists, the inaugural race brought riders and spectators from across the country to Ford County.
Over 100 years later, it’s still one of the many stories that makes our community’s history so unique.
However you’re celebrating today, we hope you have a safe, fun, and Happy Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙
☀️ And don’t forget to stay cool and hydrated, it’s going to be a hot one out there!
