🌿 Amongst a really filled life over here this good news came in the mail yesterday! And I am incredibly honored to share that Everything Holistic has been recognized as a Top 3 Reiki Therapist in Southern Indiana for 2026.

The other day my stepson asked me a question that made me stop and think.

"How do you stay so positive all the time?"

Honestly?

I don't think positivity is something you're born with.

I think it's something you practice.

Life isn't perfect over here.

I have a business.
A marriage.
A baby.
A toddler.
Bills.
Stress.
Deadlines.
Plenty of reasons to be overwhelmed.

But years ago, I made a decision that whenever something wasn't working in my life, I was going to get to the root of it instead of just covering it up.

If I was exhausted, I wanted to know why.

If I was stressed, I wanted to know why.

If I was emotionally eating, struggling with cravings, or waking up tired, I wanted to know why.

I've spent years learning how nutrition affects mood, energy, sleep, hormones, and even our ability to handle stress.

I've learned how movement changes my mindset.

I've learned how the body stores stress.

I've learned how much better life feels when you're hydrated, nourished, moving your body, and supporting your nervous system.

Do I still have hard days?

Absolutely.

But I don't leave my health, energy, or happiness up to chance.

I actively participate in creating them.

That's one of the reasons I'm always exploring new ways to support my body naturally and why I'm excited to add a BioMat into my healing sessions.

Not because I think one thing changes everything.

But because I've learned that the small things add up.

One healthy habit.
One better choice.
One healing practice.

Over time, they create a completely different life.

I had a woman come in to see me the other day who works in healthcare…
She walked in completely exhausted.
You could feel it in her energy before she even said a word.
Her shoulders were tight…
her mind was racing…
and she just kept saying how tired she felt.
By the end of her session…
She sat up and said,
“I feel like a completely different person.”
Not because we “fixed” anything…
But because her body finally had a chance to slow down
and release what it had been holding for so long.
This is what I keep seeing over and over again.
Women who are:
• holding everything together
• showing up for everyone else
• pushing through the day
…but their body is quietly asking for a break.
And when it finally gets that moment…
Everything shifts.
You don’t need more willpower.
You don’t need to “push through” harder.
Sometimes you just need a space where your body feels safe enough to let go.

This hit me today. đź’›

"Getting knocked down means little; I keep getting back up."

Years ago I thought success meant finally reaching a point where life stopped being hard.

Where the cravings disappeared.
Where the stress disappeared.
Where the relationship struggles disappeared.
Where the self-doubt disappeared.

Now I know better.

Life still happens.

Kids get sick.
Marriages get tested.
Businesses have slow seasons.
Stress shows up.
Fear shows up.

The difference is that I don't stay down anymore.

I get back up.

Not perfectly.
Not gracefully.
Not every day with a smile on my face.

But I keep getting back up.

And honestly, that's what creates transformation.

Not perfection.
Not motivation.
Not the perfect meal plan.

Just the willingness to begin again.

Again.
And again.
And again.

If you're in a season where life keeps knocking you down...

This is your reminder:

You don't have to have it all figured out.

Just get back up one more time. đź’›

These photos are about so much more than a scale number and pants size đź’›

The woman on the left was early in her recovery journey.

She was exhausted.
Healing.
Letting go of relationships that no longer served her.
Learning how to trust herself again.

Like so many women, she wanted to feel better in her body...

But what she really needed was to come home to herself.

When Amanda and I started working together, we didn't chase perfection.

We focused on small, sustainable habits.

We supported her nutrition.
We worked on mindset.
We used Reiki, energy healing, and nervous system support.
We focused on healing the woman behind the weight.

And yes, she lost 52 pounds.

But that's not what I'm most proud of.

What I'm most proud of is that years later...

✨ She's maintained her results.
✨ She's built a healthier relationship with food.
✨ She has more energy and mental clarity.
✨ She continues prioritizing her health and hormone balance.
✨ She started her own coaching and healing business.
✨ She's now empowering other women through her own journey.

That is what lasting transformation looks like.

Not suffering through another diet.

Not white-knuckling your way through cravings.

Not chasing a number on the scale.

It's becoming the woman who naturally makes choices that support her health, her energy, her purpose, and her peace.

Because when the mind, body, and soul heal together...

Everything changes. 🌿
