Missouri WIC program provides supplemental food, health care referrals, nutrition education, and breastfeeding promotion and support to eligible pregnant women, new mothers, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five (5). Fathers, grandparents, guardians, and foster parents may also apply for benefits for the children living in their household. Birth and death certificates:

Certified copied of Missouri birth certificates from 1920 to present are available at a cost of $15.00 per copy. Forms may be obtained at The Wayne County Health Center. Death records from 1980. Birth Certified $15 per record

The Missouri WIC Program has updated its income guidelines effective June 1, 2026.

If you or someone you know is pregnant, breastfeeding, recently had a baby, or has children under age 5, you may qualify for WIC benefits even if you have not qualified in the past. Call us at 573-224-3218 WIC department for any more information.

Is your child up to date on their school-required vaccines? Don’t wait until last minute! The Wayne County Health Center will be hosting a weekly vaccine clinic every Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Please call 573-224-3218 to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions regarding your child’s vaccines. Walk-ins are welcome, but please bring a shot record to shorten your waiting time! 🙂

Docket® is available to download at no cost on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You may also access Docket® on the web at Docket. Use of Docket® is 100% optional.

1. Set up your Docket® account
Sign up or log in to Docket® using your email address, Apple ID, or Gmail account.

2. Search ShowMeVax immunization record(s)
Your name, date of birth, and legal s*x entered in Docket® must match your ShowMeVax record exactly. Phone number (via text message or robocall) or email address verification is required to access a digital copy of your personal and/or family immunization record.

3. Manage your records
a) Access back-to-school forms
Select the PDF icon to access a PDF copy of your official Missouri immunization record. You can export it from Docket® using standard share functionality (e.g., email, text, print, etc.).
b) Get immunization reminders
Enable notifications to receive reminders for upcoming and overdue recommended immunizations based on public health guidelines. Click the calendar icons to add all-day reminders to your Apple, Google, and/or Outlook calendar apps.
c) Add family members
Tap the plus (+) icon on the Immunization Search History screen to add family records to a shared Docket® account.
