Heart care and team spirit go hand in hand! Meet Jeffrey J. Senfield, MD.

Dr. Jeffrey Senfield, cardiac electrophysiologist with Bon Secours — St. Francis Health System’s Upstate Cardiology, and his 4-year-old son, Cole, recently served as honorary captains at the Furman Paladins game.

For the past eight years, Dr. Senfield has been part of the Bon Secours team, delivering compassionate, goal-directed care and helping patients achieve the best possible heart health outcomes.

At Upstate Cardiology, care goes beyond procedures. The team is committed to providing comprehensive support before, during and after treatment, ensuring patients have the expert care and guidance they need every step of the way.

Based on Press Ganey survey responses, Bon Secours — OB/GYN in Greenville earned the highest Specialty Experience of Care score of 2025 and also received the Traveling Trophy for July of 2026. These honors reflect the team’s unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care at every step of the patient journey.

As Samy Iskandar, MD, shared, "Coming back home to Greenville to start a new practice was always in the back of my mind from the onset of my career. Connecting with our community and building stronger partnerships!

Our AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours team was proud to attend the grand opening of Encompass Rehabilitation, where we had the opportunity to connect with community members, health care professionals and fellow health care organizations.

Throughout the event, we shared information about our urgent care services and helped raise awareness of the convenient, accessible care available across our 16 locations. Events like these strengthen collaboration, foster new relationships and reinforce our commitment to providing high-quality care when and where our community needs it most.

We look forward to continuing to serve and support our community through meaningful partnerships and accessible health care.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we offer this prayer of remembrance, comfort and hope.

God of Peace and Mercy,
Today we remember those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania. We lift up their families and loved ones, asking for your comfort and peace.
We thank you for the courage of the first responders and all who selflessly helped others in a time of great need. May their example inspire us to live with bravery, compassion and kindness.

Replace hatred with love, fear with faith and division with unity. Help us be instruments of your peace and shine your light in a world that needs hope.

What a night at the ballpark!

One of the biggest highlights of Bon Secours — St. Francis Family Night at the Greenville Drive was welcoming our newest class of Project SEARCH interns onto the field for the pre-game ceremonies. The interns also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Fluor Field, where they learned about the many career opportunities available with the Greenville Drive and gained insight into future employment possibilities after graduation.

Chaplain Tracie Stewart provided the evening’s invocation, while our Women's Services Honorary Captains included Dr. Meghan Dubose and sonographer Amberly Brown from Upstate OBGYN, along with Dr. Dylan Solise and Certified Diabetes Educator Katie McDaniels from Upstate Maternal Fetal Medicine. The excitement continued as Greta Gue, director of emergency services, threw out the ceremonial first pitch and Shay Shipley, PA, kicked off the game as the Play Ball announcer.

Thank you to the Greenville Drive for a memorable evening celebrating our employees, families and future workforce. We are proud of the incredible people who make Bon Secours — St. Francis such a special place to work, heal and serve.
