We are home from our break! Here is a picture of the beautiful spot we spent it at. The weather was great. It was so nice to relax and bond with our family. Our grandson of course was a huge highlight as usual. I am rested and rejuvenated and ready to get back at it! Did you realize how close Mother's Day is? It's coming soon. In my house we started a new tradition a few years ago where we go hiking on Mothers Day. My choice. I love hiking, grounding myself and my family in the forests in the Adirondacks. Stopping at little shops on our way then dinner together. It makes me heart happy to have my babies around.

Running multiple businesses /jobs now a days is the norm. It's how we get our hustle on. Most people I know are working a full time job and are doing things on the side to survive. Me? Yup I run a daycare or as I affectionately say "I herd cats for a living". I have for 23 years. I love all the kids and families who have come through my doors. (I have been a single mother twice in my life so I have also cleaned houses at night and worked all day.) Now in the last 4 years I needed and wanted more. So the stars aligned and with a Gentle push from Jessica I started offering my Reiki skills. FYI she has awesome crystals for sale in her crystal Shed and is right next to Greenwich Stewart's. Check her page out for her business hours. It's been an amazing journey. I have also for years made "stuff". In my family I have artists, musicians, amazing singers...... yeah I didn't get those genes! lol But I can look at a pile of stuff and turn it into something cool! I love making folk crafts, repurposing stuff and trying my hand at lots of different mediums. So I created . I have a little road side stand, I used to been in a bunch of stores (too much life now for that) craft fairs and I have things available at the store (Idlenot Fibersmiths). Phew this is a long post! Lol But my point is Chase your hustle, do things that make your heart and soul sing. While some of us are lucky to love our day job it doesn't mean it checks every box in life. Set up those crafty things, learn a new hobby, even with busy lives of kids, jobs, houses there is time to feed your soul and hell who knows maybe make some $$$ doing it!!! Here is my crafty thing I have been working on this week.

Intention bowls. Set for different intentions using crystals, herbs, spices, statues and Reiki all set with Resin. Yup that's my kitchen table.

Chemicals!!!! Sigh they have become such a common occurrence in our lives. We ingest them, rub them on us, eat them etc.

I have been studying herbal remedies for quite awhile now. Anyone who comes to my house gets doused in oils depending on their complaints. 😂

I am all for modern science, immunizations, medications etc but if we can switch out some of it for more natural remedies/cleaning products, why not do it?

I eliminated so much expensive skin care items after learning about castor oil and its health/beauty benefits. I make our laundry soap, cleaning wipes, and dryer sheets now. It saves a ton of money but also has alot less chemicals than regular cleaners. I also have a very skin sensitive child so we have to be very careful with perfumes, dyes and chemicals since she was born. (Kid was allergic to aloe for Pete's sake!).

So that being said if you're interested in getting a little more homeopathic helpers in your life I am stocking the shop with a new product this weekend. As previously stated I suffer from migraines (Not so much after my new piercing though). So I have used oils for years to help reduce the pain. I am excited to share that I am bringing you some amazing "Headache Salve". It contains coconut oil, frankincense, peppermint and lavender essential oils. I also gave each batch some extra oomph with some Reiki energy. A bunch of my family and friends have tried it out and it WORKS great!

"Self care is so important". I preach it a lot. I even have to do it. This week I had the worst migraine of my life. Nothing was touching it. I spent Thursday drugged, ice packed, and trying any trick I knew. Friday I went and had an amazing head, neck and shoulder massage from Mackenzie Rouleau, LMT, MLD-C. Which helped tremendously. I made an appointment for chiropractic care with Whipple City Family Chiropractic, PLLC. Then yesterday I went and got the "migraine piercing" Odyssey Tattoo and Piercing. 😳 Ouch! But it had helped!
I can usually give myself a helping hand with Reiki but sometimes even I have to give in to self care!

Everyone's stress levels are so high right now. Which is causing muscle pain, eye strain, aches, pains, stomach issues and MIGRAINES!!! Get the self care. Including some Reiki with me.
