The Beljanski Foundation

The Beljanski Foundation The Beljanski Foundation is working to cure cancer the natural way These discoveries lead Mirko Beljanski to suggest a new approach to health.

Mirko Beljanski, PhD, (1923-1998), biochemist and biologist, spent his professional career at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, studying the causes and mechanisms occurring during gene activation, cell division and tissue development in both normal and malignant states. His book “The Regulation of DNA Replication & Transcription”, published in 1983, is devoted to this critical subject. Dr. Beljanski

discovered a change in the conformation of the cell’s DNA when in the presence of carcinogens (mutagens or other), pollutants, or other harmful molecules. He showed that the DNA of a cancer cell becomes unwound or destabilized, a finding that was recently confirmed in the United States. These results led him to invent the Oncotest, which allowed him to identify the carcinogenic potential of different molecules often present in our daily surroundings. This Oncotest led Dr. Beljanski to discover the beneficial effect of two specific plant extracts:

* the Pao pereira (Geissospermum vellosii), and
* the Rauwolfia vomitoria

Over the course of many years, Mirko Beljanski studied the toxicological and pharmacological properties of both plants, and analyzed their mode of action in vitro on animals grafted with different cancer cells. The Pao pereira and the Rauwolfia vomitoria not only appeared to destroy different cancer cells, but also did not present any toxicity towards healthy cells. Since then, the benefits of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria have been confirmed and expanded upon the research teams of Columbia University, New York.

Why does cancer sometimes return years later?

In a recent Townsend Letter article, Sylvie Beljanski explores the growing scientific interest in cancer stem cells, recurrence prevention, and emerging botanical research in integrative oncology.

At The Beljanski Foundation, we believe meaningful progress begins with continuing to investigate the biological mechanisms behind long-term cancer outcomes — while helping make complex scientific conversations more accessible to patients, caregivers, and practitioners.

We’re honored to see these important discussions featured in a publication that has long supported thoughtful dialogue in integrative medicine and research.

What areas of cancer research do you believe deserve deeper exploration? 👇🏻

“So many people need help right now who are struggling with a cancer diagnosis.”

That’s why conversations like these matter.

Dr. Christine Schaffner describes BICC as a space where cutting-edge research, practical wellness tools, and meaningful human connection all come together in one room — making complex conversations around cancer care feel more approachable and accessible.

Healing is not limited to the physical body—it involves the entire system of human experience.
In this clip from Episode, explores:
✔️ The concept of health as a multi-layered “terrain”
✔️ How emotional and energetic patterns may influence physical outcomes
✔️ The importance of identifying hidden stressors such as toxins and trauma

Healing is rarely one-dimensional. In this episode, Dr. Christine Schaffner offers a broader perspective on health—one that integrates the physical body with emotional, energetic, and environmental influences.
She shares her “terrain medicine” approach, which seeks to understand the full landscape in which illness develops and healing unfolds.
✔️ Personalized evaluation using integrative diagnostic tools
✔️ Attention to hidden contributors such as toxins, trauma, and environmental stressors
✔️ Support for nervous system regulation and emotional coherence
✔️ A focus on restoring the body’s natural capacity to self-regulate
💡 This conversation invites us to rethink what it means to truly heal.

"If you're battling cancer or a chronic condition, you'll feel very supported in this environment."

Jonathan Otto describes the Beljanski Integrative Cancer Conference as a space where people come together around a shared mission — to learn, connect, and have open conversations about health and healing.

What stands out in his experience is how engaged the room becomes, with experts and attendees actively participating in the same discussions rather than speaking from separate spaces.

BICC brings together doctors, practitioners, researchers, caregivers, and wellness-minded attendees for four days of education and shared discussion.

True healing often requires us to look beyond the physical body.
In this clip from Episode, Dr. Christine Schaffner shares her integrative perspective on healing and cancer care:
✔️ Health is shaped by physical, emotional, energetic, and environmental layers
✔️ “Terrain medicine” looks at the full ecosystem influencing disease and recovery
✔️ Personalized assessment may include clinical history, lab work, and bioresonance tools
✔️ Hidden stressors like toxins, trauma, and EMFs can impact healing capacity

There’s a growing body of integrative research on breast and prostate cancer — and most patients never get to hear it.

On June 26th, that changes. Ten of the world’s leading integrative cancer experts are sitting down together for a 2-Hour Master Workshop
at BICC 2026 — two focused panels, and a live Q&A for everyone in the room.

🔬 BREAST CANCER PANEL
Moderated by Cara Fuhrman, ND (LongevityRx by Dr. Fuhrman)
Featuring: Leigh Erin Connealy, M.D. | Sylvie Beljanski | Carol Lourie Healing | Dan Rubin, ND (Naturopathic Specialists, LLC)

🔬 PROSTATE CANCER PANEL
Moderated by Robert Scott Bell, DA Hom. (The Robert Scott Bell Show)

“We get thrown into this journey that none of us asked for.”

Jim Ladwig was in his early 30s when his cancer journey began — navigating multiple doctors in search of answers and exploring different approaches along the way.

His experience reflects something many people in the integrative cancer space understand: most journeys involve questions, uncertainty, and the need to explore more than one path.

Over time, Jim found education and perspective through BICC, along with something many attendees describe — a sense of connection with others walking a similar road.

At BICC 2026, he’ll be part of conversations alongside doctors, researchers, practitioners, caregivers, and cancer thrivers focused on integrative approaches to care.
