🌱 Spring 2026 🌱

You were one for the record books for this dietitian and mom of 5!

We lived a lot of life the past several months, including:
-an epic family trip to Washington DC
-track meets
-basketball games
-volleyball games
-flag football games
-many “last” performances
-senior showcase and luncheon
-my oldest’s high school graduation 🥹

Many of you won’t actually care whether I’m here or not, and I currently choose to live life in the moment rather than share all about it in real time…

But as I encounter clients, friends, and family who are simply trying to survive this time of life, I still feel like there’s so much more I can share to help other super busy moms thrive.

I have made a conscious effort every single day to thrive and I can help you, too!!

Tonight, I just want to send you a big virtual hug. And if you are struggling with your physical or mental health right now, know that even though there is a vast interweb between us, I am only a DM away if you need some support.

I hope to be back more consistently to share tips, strategies, and virtual support to help you live a healthy lifestyle in a way that fits in your busy life. 🤗🫶🏻

I’d like to offer 2 tips to try that always pull me out of a funk:
-think of one thing you are grateful for today
-and if time allows, go outside for a walk!

⚡️Feeling like a less than charged battery even after a full night’s sleep?

As a registered dietitian, I can help with a full assessment of possibilities. 🫶🏻

As a 43 yr old mom of 5 in perimenopause I know there are tons of potential possibilities and I struggle with the same day-to-day obstacles as you. 😵‍💫

Both professionally and personally these are common reasons that can have fairly simple solutions to get you started. Then you can always dig in more if needed!!

⚡️You are not eating enough (I see this WAY more often than overeating and it’s a detriment to energy)

⚡️ You aren’t balancing protein and carb intake appropriately (causing blood sugar imbalances)

⚡️ You are over-exercising (causing stress in your body)

⚡️ You aren’t working with the hormonal changes in your body (so you aren’t using the nutrients you eat)

There can be so many more like hormone imbalances needing more support, not addressing stress appropriately, drinking alcohol too often, undiagnosed medical condition, etc.

Sometimes you do need to look deeper than the surface but at the surface everyone needs:

⚡️ Foods that nourish your body
⚡️ Movement that makes you feel strong and confident

I love the program I coach because it hits the basics. I love my work as a dietitian because we can dig deeper if/when needed.

If you are interested in my coaching program, comment COACH to learn more. My next group starts on Monday!!

If you have tried programs and feel you need more digging and/or 1:1 help, click HELP to inquire.

I’m here to help in any way!! 💖

Hey, I’m a 43 year old, perimenopausal mom of 5 and it’s not uncommon for me to feel insane. 🤪😵‍💫🫠

But when it comes to having energy and feeling my best, I can’t keep doing the same things that keep me feeling lousy. You??

So I’m dusting off some tools that I have used in the past but got complacent about over the past 18 months.

I’d love to be your coach and educator in using these tools also!!

✔️ Nutrition tracker to MEET your needs, not restrict
✔️ Customized recipes/meal plans to save time
✔️ At home or gym workouts in an app. Most are ~30 min max and focused on strength training
✔️ Save time and money with a one stop shop of tools and an expert coach (me!)

Comment COACH to learn more. No pressure to purchase when you peruse. 🤗

I’m sorry if you’ve been led to believe starving yourself is the only way to lose weight.

That thought process is bonkers because if you don’t nourish your body, it goes into STORAGE mode (fat storage) and you will have NO ENERGY because we literally get energy from the food we eat.

Confused on what to do instead?

✔️ Get a coach for accountability and support
✔️ Learn what your body needs to function for energy and stop driving storage mode
✔️ Use tools to create nourishing meals/plans
✔️ Move your body (30-45 minutes is all you need) at home or at the gym (my app has both options!)

I’m a registered dietitian, mom of 5, and a certified coach for an amazing program that has helped me and others achieve weight/fat loss and increase energy…and I’m coaching a round that starts Monday! It’s $75 off with the code Mom75.

Drop the word COACH in the comments and I’ll send you a link with more info!!

I don’t accept the excuse that you have to deal with unwanted weight gain in perimenopause.

Might it happen?
Sure.
Probably.

But it’s usually a symptom of underlying metabolic dysfunction that could impact your long-term health.

Ignoring it altogether could result in bigger health concerns down the road.

Should a number on the scale determine your happiness and self-worth?
Absolutely not!

Should you accept a doctor telling you it’s just your age and just buy new pants?
Absolutely not!

I listen to my clients’ symptoms and then clinically assess what could be going on. You deserve the same time and care!

My DMs are always open if you need me. 🤗

Ever get the “munchies” in the late afternoon?

Ever criticize yourself because you have no “willpower”?

Your munchies are more likely due to physiology than willpower (which is a term I don’t like, btw).

Next time you experience this, ask yourself:

✔️ When did I eat last? If it’s been more than 3 hours your body is probably tell you your cells need energy.

✔️ Did you eat enough protein early in the day? If your breakfast and lunch didn’t have 20-30 g of protein EACH you have missed getting in enough blood sugar balancing protein to keep hunger at bay.

✔️ Did you skip one or more of your meals? Not nourishing your body enough early in the morning day will cause cravings and intense hunger later in the day.

If you aren’t eating optimally, your munchies aren’t a lack of willpower, they are a sign your body is needing nourishment more consistently during the day.

Let me know with a 🙋🏼‍♀️ in the comments if the munchies happen to you.

I help clients with strategies and tools 1:1 through my work at No Diet Dietitian (link to inquire at my link in bio). I’m also creating a guide to optimal health during perimenopause and a mini-course to mastering the munchies for PCOS.

If you would like more info on either upcoming option, comment Perimenopause or PCOS and I’ll add you to the appropriate list to contact when ready!

Yesterday was Registered Dietitian Day and I was so busy doing the job I love, I missed posting. 😅

I absolutely love using nutrition and lifestyle to manage the effects of hormone imbalances and helping other women develop their own plans for health. I believe the foods we eat and the way we live our lives have a huge impact on our symptoms, regardless of age.

Not all RDs are the same and not every RD is knowledgeable about hormones or unique strategies to manage health through the female life cycle. But I have spent the last 12 years (3/4 of my career) digging into to strategies, helping women apply those strategies, and using those strategies myself to minimize perimenopause symptoms as a 43 year old mom of 5.

I have also dedicated those same 12 years to helping women with PCOS. I don’t have PCOS but my approach to managing symptoms has helped 100s of my clients over the years. Many report that I am the first practitioner they worked with who understood the condition and really listened to them. My training as a RD helped me develop my skills to listen, assess, educate, and develop plans of care.

Cheers to my fellow RDs and to those dedicated to helping women love vibrant lives. 🥂

Go, eat rich foods and drink sweet drinks, and allot portions to those who had nothing prepared; for today is holy to our LORD. Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the LORD is your strength!

🔥Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire. ~St. Catherine of Siena

Behind this screen, I’m a registered dietitian actively working with ~30 clients for a wide range of hormone imbalances and unique health goals. I’m also a mom of 5, trying to be a steady presence in my kids’ lives. I’m a wife of 20+ years and co-manage a busy household with my husband. We don’t have a housekeeper, nanny, driver, or chef so we have a lot of wheels turning at all times (no pun intended). 😌

Who I am and who I am meant to be are in God’s hands and I try to constantly ask, listen, and act on where He is leading me.

Leaning in to big things He has told me are in store for 2026. Hang on for the ride!!

You don’t need a reset. 🫶🏻

You need a steady next step. 🫶🏻

If you need a partner, sounding board, or cheerleader, reach out!! I’d love nothing more than to support you!!

Just know, without a firm foundation there will be no magic pill, powder, or product that will get you to your goals. I’m happy to share my experiences trying so many! 🤪
