Pretty exciting developments for us these last couple of months.

We moved away from gyroid lattice and rebuilt the platform around our DiamondCore™ TPMS diamond lattice architecture.

The driver wasn’t aesthetic. It was control over structure and manufacturability.

At the same time, we pushed our laser powder bed fusion process further, cutting wall thickness in half while maintaining a 350 PSI rating on both shell and tube side.

That change reshapes the whole equation.
Less material. Faster builds. Lighter parts.

On the performance side, DiamondCore™ gives us more usable surface area and better flow behavior than gyroid, so efficiency goes up while print time comes down.

This is the point where additive manufacturing stops copying legacy heat exchangers and starts defining its own rules.

Not every application needs a cutting‑edge TPMS lattice heat exchanger, and that’s exactly why we still build traditional shell‑and‑tube systems.

Over the past few months, a lot of attention has gone toward our new gyroid line, but the truth is most of the world still relies on proven, robust shell‑and‑tube designs, and that isn’t changing any time soon.

For clients who need:

Shell‑and‑tube is still a great tool for the job.

Our team has been manufacturing custom stainless systems for years, and we still support:
• solvent recovery
• chilling loops

A look inside our gyroid heat exchanger during testing.

This is liquid butane immediately after the v***r‑to‑liquid phase change while we were pushing a heavy load of v***r through the top of the unit.

The gyroid core drives high turbulence and extremely high surface‑area contact, which forces rapid condensation and efficient heat transfer.

Those visible streaks are the condensed butane being pulled through the chaotic flow paths created by the gyroid geometry.

All of this is happening inside a heat exchanger that’s only 6” in diameter and 14” tall.

Compact footprint. Aggressive phase‑change performance. Exactly why we’re investing deeper into this platform.
