This week at Monterey Care Center, we celebrated our AMAZING Dietary Team! 🎉

Our dietary staff works hard behind the scenes every single day to make sure our residents receive delicious meals, compassionate service, and a little extra love with every plate! ❤️

We took some time to show our appreciation with pizza, special gifts, and beautiful fruit baskets! 🎁🍕

A HUGE shout-out and heartfelt THANK YOU to Sanfillipo Produce for generously donating the beautiful fruit baskets that helped make our celebration extra special! 🍎🍊🍇

At Monterey Care Center, we believe every discharge deserves a celebration… but this resident had a VERY special request! 🤣

His one wish before heading home? TO GET SILLY STRINGED! 🎊🌈

Well, you know we couldn’t let him leave without making that wish come true! 😂💙

And let’s just say… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🎯🤣

There was laughter, colorful chaos, and silly string EVERYWHERE! But most importantly, there were smiles and memories made! 🥰

Because at Monterey, it’s not just about the care we provide… it’s about the relationships we build and the joy we share along the way! 💙

💜 Walk With Us to End Alzheimer’s! 💜

Join the Optalis Healthcare Team this Sunday, October 11th, as we come together for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 💜🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

📍 Location: The Lawn at CAS

🕛 Doors Open: 12:00 PM
💜 Join Our Team: 1:00 PM
🎤 Opening Ceremony: 2:00 PM

Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with fun, festivities, community spirit, and support for an incredible cause!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children of all ages are welcome!
🐶 Furry friends are welcome too (dogs must be leashed)!
♿ Strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are welcome, with a fully paved walking path for everyone to enjoy!

💜 Together, we walk for awareness, for hope, for those living with Alzheimer’s, and for the families who love and care for them.

Today at Monterey Care Center, we took time to recognize and celebrate the amazing members of our Environmental Services team! 🏅🎉

Their hard work happens every single day—often behind the scenes—but the difference they make can be seen and felt throughout our entire community. From keeping our home clean, comfortable, and welcoming to helping create a safe environment for our residents, families, and staff, their dedication truly matters.

We enjoyed some great food, lots of laughs, and a little well-deserved recognition for this incredible team. 🍔💙

💙 Connecting with Our Community at the Senior Health Fair! 💙

Today, the team from Monterey Care Center / Optalis Healthcare had the pleasure of participating in the 2026 Senior Health Fair in Columbus!

We enjoyed meeting seniors, families, caregivers, and other community partners while sharing information about the services and resources available through Optalis Healthcare. Events like this are a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, answer questions, and help families feel more informed about their care options.

A special thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, grab some goodies, and learn more about how we support seniors through skilled nursing , longer term care and memory care.
