🎒🚲 Back-to-school means it’s time for a helmet check! 🚲🎒

Before your child heads out on their bike, scooter, or other wheeled activity, take a few minutes to make sure their helmet is safe and fits properly.

🔎 Check that:
• The helmet is not cracked, damaged, or missing parts
• The straps aren’t frayed or damaged
• The helmet fits snugly and doesn’t move around
• The straps form a “V” around the ears
• The chin strap is comfortably secured
• The helmet sits level and low on the forehead — about 1–2 finger widths above the eyebrows

If the helmet has been involved in a crash or is damaged, replace it!

A few minutes checking a helmet can help keep kids safe as they ride to school. 💙
