Maybe you’re not as behind as you think.

It’s easy to look at someone else’s life and wonder why you’re not further along by now.

But preparation rarely looks impressive while you’re in it.

David had the field before the palace.
Joseph had the prison before the promotion.
Moses had the wilderness before the assignment.

There are seasons when God is developing something in you before He does something through you.

So don’t automatically interpret slow as stuck. Don’t let comparison rush you out of a season that may be strengthening you for what’s next.

Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep obeying. Keep moving.

You may discover that the season you thought was costing you time was actually increasing your capacity for where God is taking you.

Preparation is not punishment.
