To Our Valued Patients, Friends, Family, and Community,
After much thought, reflection, and many difficult conversations, we have made the heartbreaking decision to permanently close Morrell Advanced Practice. Our final day of operation will be August 7, 2026.
This decision was not made lightly. For many years, it has been our privilege to care for this community, and we are incredibly grateful for every patient who entrusted us with their healthcare. We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to our staffโpast and presentโwhose dedication, compassion, and hard work have helped make this practice what it is today. We are equally thankful for the support of our families, friends, and community partners who have stood beside us throughout this journey.
Effective June 8, 2026, our Hancock location will permanently close. Patients with appointments scheduled at the Hancock office after June 8 will be contacted and accommodated at our Hagerstown office whenever possible. All patient care will continue from our Hagerstown location through August 7, 2026.
We would also like to share that Henrietta Darpoh is no longer with the practice. Patients previously under her care will be contacted directly regarding continued care and scheduling options.
At this time, Caitlyn remains out of the office. We kindly ask that everyone respect her privacy and refrain from contacting the office seeking personal information. We understand that many of you care deeply about her and are concerned; however, our staff are unable to discuss private matters.
As we navigate this transition, we ask for your patience and understanding. Our team is working diligently to ensure continuity of care, assist with appointments, process medication refills, reopen compounded medication orders, and help patients obtain records and necessary information before closure. This is a challenging time for everyone involved, including our staff, who are also processing these changes while continuing to serve our patients with the same dedication and professionalism you have always known.
To help us serve everyone as efficiently as possible during this transition, we encourage patients to contact the office by email at [email protected] whenever possible. While our phone lines will remain open, we anticipate a higher-than-normal call volume and appreciate your patience as our team works to assist all patients.
Any patient accounts involving credits, refunds, or other outstanding financial matters will be reviewed and addressed prior to the practice's closure. We kindly ask for patience as these matters may require review by practice leadership and may not be able to be addressed immediately by office staff.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and healthcare journeys. The relationships we have built over the years mean more than words can express, and we will forever be grateful for your trust, support, and kindness.
With sincere gratitude,
The Morrell Advanced Practice Family
