Strong shoulders start with strong shoulder blades 💪

The scapula plays a huge role in how your shoulder moves, absorbs force, and produces strength. If it lacks control, the shoulder often has to work harder than it should.

Exercises like scapular pull-ups and plank serratus plus help train the muscles responsible for controlling the shoulder blade through different positions and loads.

We use movements like these to improve:
✨ Scapular control and awareness
✨ Shoulder stability
✨ Overhead mechanics
✨ Force transfer through the upper body

The goal isn’t to “pin” your shoulder blades in one position—it’s to give them the strength and control to move well when your body needs them to.

Because better shoulder movement starts with better scapular movement. 🔥

Early labor is all about creating space. ✨

Positions that help open the pelvic inlet and encourage tailbone flexion can support your baby’s journey into the pelvis and help your body work with labor, not against it.

In this video, we’re demonstrating simple movements and positions that may help:
🤰 Open the pelvic inlet
🤰 Promote optimal baby positioning
🤰 Encourage tailbone mobility
🤰 Support comfort during early labor

Every labor is unique, but understanding how movement influences the pelvis can give you more tools and confidence throughout the process.

Save this for later and share with an expecting mama! 💛

A good shoulder warm-up does more than just “loosen things up” 🔥

The goal isn’t to exhaust your muscles before your workout—it’s to prepare your body for the movements ahead.

That’s why we like to include a combination of:
✨ Mobility to improve available range of motion
✨ Stability to help the shoulder feel supported
✨ Activation of the muscles that control the shoulder blade and rotator cuff
✨ Movement patterns that mimic what you’re about to do in training

In this warm-up, we’re using elevated push-ups with a weight transfer, windmills, and archer band pulls to get the shoulders, thoracic spine, core, and upper back working together.

An effective warm-up should leave you feeling ready to move—not tired.

What does your shoulder warm-up look like? 💪

Curb walking is great for pelvic mobility, balance, and weight shifting during pregnancy—but it’s not the only option.

Movements like half-kneel weight shifts on a birth ball and lateral lunge step-ups can train similar patterns while helping build strength, stability, and mobility through the hips and pelvis.

Different movement, same goal 🤍

SI joint pain can feel confusing—because it’s not always about something being “out of place.”

The sacroiliac joint (SIJ) relies on stability, not constant movement. When that stability isn’t there, you might feel pain through the low back, glutes, or even into the pelvis.

That’s where exercises like these come in 👇
Wall-based isometrics + bridges help create tension through the hips and core to better support the SI joint—without overloading it.

✨ Build stability through the pelvis
✨ Improve muscle coordination around the hips + core
✨ Reduce irritation by controlling, not forcing, movement
✨ Create a stronger foundation for everyday tasks

Simple? Yes.
Effective? Also yes.

Because with SIJ discomfort, it’s less about “fixing alignment” and more about giving your body the support it’s been missing.
