✨ Lighting can change EVERYTHING when it comes to hair color! ✨

Have you ever looked at your hair in the salon and thought, “Wow, this is perfect!”… then stepped outside and thought it looked completely different? 😂

You’re not imagining it!

💡 Warm indoor lighting can make blondes appear more golden and brunettes look warmer or richer.

☀️ Natural sunlight shows the truest version of your color and can reveal tones you may not notice indoors.

❄️ Cool/LED lighting can make blondes look brighter or ashier and can emphasize cooler tones in brunettes.

📸 And then there’s camera lighting, which can completely change how color appears in photos!

This is why I always look at your color under different lighting before deciding whether a tone needs adjusting. Hair color isn’t one-dimensional—it reflects light differently depending on the environment. 🤎✨

So before you panic because your hair looks “different” in your bathroom mirror… check it in natural light first! 😉

✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR HELLO GORGEOUS ✨

I’ve been keeping a little secret… and I’m finally ready to share it! 🥹🤍

I am SO excited to announce that I am officially taking over Hello Gorgeous Hair Salon! 🎉✂️

This opportunity came about very unexpectedly, and while it wasn’t something I had planned or anticipated, I feel incredibly grateful and excited to step into this new chapter.

First and foremost, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Alissa for trusting me with this opportunity and allowing me to take over the salon. I’m so thankful for the time I’ve spent working alongside you, and I truly appreciate you believing in me and giving me the chance to make Hello Gorgeous my own. I would not be where I am today without you 🤍

This salon has become so much more than just a place I come to work. It’s where I’ve built relationships with so many amazing clients, watched families grow, shared laughs (and sometimes tears!), and created so many memories behind the chair.

Taking over the salon is a HUGE step for me, but I’m so excited for what’s ahead! There will be some exciting changes and upgrades along the way, but one thing will always stay the same: I’m here because I genuinely love what I do and the people I get to do it for.

To every client who has trusted me with their hair, recommended me to a friend, supported me, or simply sat in my chair and let me be part of your life — THANK YOU. 🥹🤍 Your support means more to me than you know, and this next chapter wouldn’t be possible without you.

📅 A little scheduling update: I am currently booking through the end of the year, so if you know you’ll need an appointment for the holidays or before the new year, please reach out sooner rather than later!

I will also be closed for the beginning of October, so please keep that in mind when planning your upcoming appointments. I’ll share the exact dates as we get closer.

I can’t wait to take you all along for this new adventure!

Vacation mode: OFF 🌄

After ✌️long trips in less than 3 weeks, I’ll be back in the salon on Saturday and ready to see you all!

Summer is winding down so now is the time to book those back-to-school haircuts and fall appointments! With our busiest season right around the corner, I am booking now through the end of the year with my next opening being Monday, August 24th.
