So my answer would be ✌️
We are trained to look for a release and a yawn can be, but a yawn alone doesn't necessarily mean a horse is releasing. A yawn accompanied by softening of the eye, body and
improved range of motion is a much better sign of release. As a practitioner I am trained to feel for restriction, and feel and observe release. It is my goal to improve range of motion each time I get my hands on a horse. Sometimes that is in baby steps and some horses just are good and letting it go. Makes my job fun figuring them out 😊

Question......
It this a release?
👍 yes
👎no
✌️maybe, lets have a discussion

Vote now and we will discuss the yawn. :)

Hey friends, no video today, I have spent the day dealing with bad water.

This is a PSA: If your livestock only have a dam to water out of, keep a close eye on it!

I took 3 samples in today from different pastures and they were all marginal to bad, meaning not safe for livestock consumption. A few years back we lost some cows to bad water, it was awful to find them. Don't want it to happen to anyone else! Pump Systems in Dickinson can do water testing. They said most all of the samples that have come in lately have been bad. Also watch out for blue green algea.

Stay safe, stay cool and have a wonderful rest of the week~

It's Wednesday! Hey friends, just wanted to share a few pictures from my week.
I was able to attend the The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork Weekend Course in Rapid City. It was really fun to be there as an assistant this time :) Kat Davies, and Peggy Smith are wonderful and if you are ever interested in attending I highly recommend it! We are very fortunate to have them in SD. If you are interested in learning more about this program, Peggy is having another weekend course in September.
I was able to spend a couple of days with my sister and her family and of course, work on horses along the way!

Have a blessed and safe 4th of July weekend 🇺🇸🇺🇸

When you're an "expert" do you ever need to go back to the basics?? Why could that be important?? Take a listen and have a blessed week!
