Trystan has done an outstanding job maintaining open communication and asking questions to continue learning and growing in her role. She has quickly built a strong connection with her client through outings, walks, and encouraging exercise while also working hard to understand their needs and support them during difficult moments.

What an Incredible Week at MAPA!

We had an amazing time attending the MAPA Conference with public administrators from across Missouri!

At Show-Me Community Services, opportunities like this mean everything to us. Being able to connect face to face, share what we do, and learn more about how we can better support individuals and the professionals who serve them is truly invaluable.

* We loved meeting so many dedicated public administrators
* Building new relationships and strengthening existing ones
* Sharing how we support individuals in living their best lives through ISL, Host home, and Day Program services

Our team was proud to represent the heart of what we do.. Service, Teamwork, Acceptance, and Respect, and show how we can be a trusted partner in supporting individuals across our communities.

Today we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day at Show-Me Community Services! Leadership made rounds delivering Hot Box Cookies and Dirty Sodas to staff working today as a small thank you for the incredible care, patience, and dedication they show every single day.

CELEBRATING LEADERSHIP & GROWTH AT SMCS

Staff STAR Player – Zoey Johnson
Zoey demonstrated incredible calm and professionalism during a challenging behavioral situation. She de-escalated with confidence, maintained dignity and respect, and supported others throughout.
This is leadership in action.

Client STAR Player – Jacob Rohr
Jacob has shown meaningful growth in communication and emotional regulation. He remained calm in difficult moments and demonstrated empathy and kindness toward peers.
Growth takes effort and Jacob is putting in the work.

Rookie STAR Player – Alexis McCann
Alexis has quickly made a positive impact on her team. She consistently steps in to help and brings a steady, dependable presence to her role.
Teamwork isn’t loud it’s consistent.

Chris exemplifies high fidelity Tiered Supports implementation, models emotional regulation, supports his team hands on, and reinforces strong documentation and coaching practices daily.
