Tuesday UPDATE:
So after all of the chaos from last night, I was hopeful little man would have a good night's sleep but his belly had other plans. Kayden is used to Mommy putting him on the potty when he wakes up at night because I know thats why he's up. Unfortunately, he can't tell the nurses he has to go potty or that his belly hurts. So, he had a bit of a spit-up and then twice he went in his diaper which upsets him because he knows how to go on the "big boy potty" and he doesnt enjoy sitting in it or the clean up that comes after 😔
Also, he is still having the intermittent fevers, but that's likely because his little immunocompromised body is trying to fight off the flu with a reallllly weak immune system (and up till last night, no blood!) Luckily, after tylenol, he bounces right back to his happy little self 🙃
Today will be used for rest, relaxation, monitoring and some consults with hematology to see if we can find out why his blood count dropped so low without him having any kind of bleed anywhere in his body that we know of. Our fingers are crossed that it was just a response to the virus he is fighting and moving forward it will not give him any more issues! 🤞🏽
