Welcome to Soulful Saturday at Hamilton Yoga Center — a space for meaningful connection, nourishing conversation, and community. In the yoga tradition, kula refers to spiritual community: people gathering together to support, learn from, and uplift one another through life’s joys and struggles.
Each gathering will include good books, good food, good company, and thoughtful discussion centered around spirituality, yoga philosophy, and topics that matter to all of us — from personal growth and relationships to grief, healing, celebration, and everyday life.
Guided by Christy Fletcher and Elizabeth Samayoa, each meeting may explore different books, ideas, practices, or reflections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Our First Meeting: 12:30-2 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2026
Our first Soulful Saturday gathering will be inspired by Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution by Rainn Wilson. Together, we’ll explore conversations around spirituality and what it means to be human — not just with a body and mind, but with a subtle energetic aspect or “soul.”
We’ll discuss ideas that explore the potential for a modern spiritual revolution: a “Soul Boom” that can inspire healing and transformation both individually and collectively. Through thoughtful conversation, shared perspectives, and community, we hope to create a welcoming space for curiosity, reflection, connection, and growth. You may read the book before our meeting, but it is not necessary in order to attend.
WHAT TO BRING: a vegetarian dish to share, a plate/bowl, cup, napkin, and cutlery for yourself.
