Today is a sad day at NYANF. We as a team are making the decision to dissolve NYANF. This is not a decision we make lightly but unfortunately we just simply have not been able to gather the support to keep our mission moving forward. We hoped that after the work we put into obtaining our 501c3 status that we would be able to expand our reach and gain new sponsors and partners but it just hasn’t worked out that way. Since our founding in 2023, our team has dedicated so much time for minimal progress and since then our team has had to weigh out their options and it’s simply not viable to continue moving forward as we have been. That said, we have some house keeping to take care of prior to our dissolution vote. Below you will see some 3D prints we had made to gift to our larger donors. However, we are instead going to use them to launch one final fundraising campaign to raise money for the event that started this all. Every year Maine Veterans Project provides food to Veterans in need during the holiday season. Funds generated from this final campaign will go towards that effort as well as our remaining funds in the account once all the 3D prints have sold. If you want to help us out, please reach out via messenger to purchase 1 of the 14 available NYANF prints! We want this to be a big final push so we will sell them for $100 each. Of course additional donations will be welcomed.

Thank you to all who supported us in this journey. Please know that we will continue to support many community based charitable events and initiatives, just with other established organizations.

We want to provide a quick update. A lot of stop and go happens in a growing non-profit like our own. This year we have the tools and the vision to expand a bit but we are working to pull something’s together.

First, we launched our Hero’s Wear Scrubs program. Dedicated to showing appreciation to our healthcare workers. This is an ambitious program that we are working hard to secure funding for. We stated we would be conducting our first drawing at the end of January and we are still dedicated to that date, should the participants wish to have the drawing.

That said, our offerings will be limited as we continue to work towards growing the program. We will leave a poll posted for those who have signed up to decide if they would like to hold the drawing on 1/31 or to postpone the first drawing until next month to allow us more time to secure funding.

We are also working hard on what will likely become our largest annual event which will be dedicated to aiding cancer care and further our goal of helping our healthcare workers so please keep an eye out for more information on that.

Finally, we are also working on a co****le Tournament Series with Maine Veterans Project to help provide a steady source of funding for years to come.

As a side note, we are still working towards our goal of 1000 followers! We have a great prize package worth roughly $200 from The Shop Inc to give away to one lucky follower when we reach that goal!

Thank you everyone for your patience!

Still searching for a motivated individual! If that sounds like you, please read!

The New Year is here and in 2025 we are looking to expand our team!

We are seeking someone to fill the roll of our volunteer coordinator! We need someone with great people skills and the availability to set up smaller volunteer efforts to grow our organization! If you work part time, are retired, or maybe are a stay at home spouse or parent and want to expand your horizons, please contact us!

Our goal is to get local high school and college students more involved in our organization. This will provide students with the opportunity to be a part of our growing organization and offer them unique benefits for volunteering.

Please understand that this is a strictly voluntary position (for now) which allows us to keep operating costs low and ensure the majority of our funds continue to benefit the programs we run.

Incase anyone hadn’t noticed, we’ve had a massive surge of roughly 150 new followers in the past week! I’d like to thank all of you who shared our posts and made this huge leap possible!

But the work isn’t over! We still want to meet our goal of 1000 followers so we can give away some sweet swag and a $100 gift certificate from The Shop Inc! So keep sharing!

Let the nurse and CNA friends of yours know about our Hero’s Wear scrubs program! For those of you who like co****le, we are working on a benefit tournament! And, we are also ironing out details for our first official car show cancer benefit! Lots of big things coming this year. You don’t wanna miss them!

We sent out emails to a handful of people who signed up for the Hero’s Wear Scrubs program through our website. Unfortunately, that was the outdated plan for the program and we are now using Zeffy! If you signed up through the website, please use the link below to sign up officially so we can include you in our drawings!

Also, for those how have signed up or are thinking about signing up, please let us know what items would be of the most benefit to you in the comments below! This will help us shape the program moving forward!
