New England’s expecting a storm overnight. I know all about the “milk, bread, toilet paper” jokes, but I realized that I also have some “storm habits.”

🧦 👚👖🩲I get all my laundry caught up. In case I can’t do laundry, I want the maximum available.

🔌 I charge all of our electronics and backup chargers.

📺🎥 🎲♟️I download family favorite series and movies, and make sure I know where our favorite board games are.

🔦🔋 I make sure the flashlights have batteries and the solar lamps are in the windows.

🥘🍲 I make/prep food that can be reheated on the wood stove. I make a mean grilled cheese… lol! We have eggs/bacon. I cook pasta and have it in ziplocks, pasta sauce is ready to go, and usually a soup, stew, or chili.

🪵 We bring in carts of wood so they are ready and we don’t have to drag them through snow for as long as possible.

Trying new things isn’t always easy. It can be frustrating as an adult. Heck, it’s been a long time since we learned to walk. Remember though, it is a process. Army crawls… then crawling… a few steps… then walking… and then running.

You can do this. Don’t give up!

I learned how to do this on MS Word last week (I don’t have Photoshop). I wanted to make some bedroom collages for my daughter for Christmas. The resolution isn’t great when it gets enlarged. I’ll keep trying…
