July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, and there has never been a better time to talk about healing.
As I count down to 40 and the release of my new book, *Becoming a Goddess*, I'm reminded that this journey has never been about chasing a number on the scale.
It's been about healing the mind.
Healing the body.
Healing the community.
Far too many minority communities continue to face higher rates of chronic disease while also experiencing barriers to mental health care, preventive services, and opportunities to live healthier lives. That's why these conversations matter.
Movement is medicine.
Join us as we explore:
• How physical activity supports both mental and physical health
• The connection between movement, stress, trauma, and chronic disease
• The barriers that make healthy living more challenging for many minority communities
• Practical, sustainable ways to build healthier habits for yourself and your family
At Fit Goddess Tribe, we believe wellness is about more than weight loss. It's about breaking generational cycles, reducing health disparities, building resilience, and creating healthier futures for ourselves and the generations that follow.
Check out this episode and our growing library of videos on health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, mental health, and healing on our YouTube channel. Every video is another step toward creating healthier individuals, stronger families, and thriving communities.
As I celebrate another year of life and prepare to release Becoming a Goddess* my hope is simple: that more people choose healing over survival and prevention over crisis.
