🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — September 11, 2026

Today marks 25 years since a day that forever changed our nation. We remember the lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the extraordinary courage of first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who stepped forward to help others.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

We remember the courage.
We remember the sacrifice.
We remember the helpers.
We remember how, in the midst of unimaginable tragedy, Americans stood together.

May we honor those we lost not only with our memories, but by choosing compassion, courage, service, and unity in the way we live today.

🍂 September: Little Things Worth Smiling About 🍂

September has a way of reminding us that sometimes the little things really can make a difference.

A cooler morning.
The first hint of fall in the air.
Opening the windows.
A warm cup of coffee. ☕
Leaves beginning to change. 🍁
An evening walk without the summer heat.
A favorite sweater coming out of the closet.
A few quiet minutes outside.

Changing seasons can invite us to slow down, get outdoors, reconnect with our routines, and simply notice the good around us—all little things that can support our mental well-being.

Homecomings can be hard. Project Welcome Home Troops offers FREE online workshop for veterans, active duty military, first responders and family members.

The SKY Resilience Workshop provides breath-based tools that decrease the stress, anxiety, and sleep problems many veterans and active military experience. Course participants notice an improvement in relationships and an enhanced sense of mental clarity and well-being. SKY Resilience Workshop is offered complimentary to veterans, active duty military members, first responders (police, fire & rescue and EMTs), and their immediate family over the age of 18 yrs.
