FINALLY!! We’re a little late this year but here’s our adaptive Surfing schedule for 2026! We do have a few other events to announce at a later date! Our June 20 signups will be open tomorrow!

Registration is open for Wheel to Surf on May 30th at 30th Ave S. in Atlantic Beach, SC! All volunteers and participants, please sign up here:

We are expecting a large crowd and to ensure we can provide a safe and enjoyable surf session for all our participants while keeping our volunteers safe, the first 66 surfers who sign-up will be guaranteed a spot and any additional surfers will be added to a waiting list. An email was sent out earlier today with the link as well!

The South Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association is excited to partner with the City of Columbia to bring a FREE day of adaptive sports and recreation to the community!

Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10AM–2PM at Greenview Park for an action-packed day where individuals with physical disabilities can try adaptive tennis, adaptive pickleball, and wheelchair basketball in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether you’re looking to get active, meet new people, or discover a new passion, this event is for YOU! No experience needed — just come ready to have fun and give it a try.

2026 BCLS Summer Reading Program is here! Our theme is Unearth a Story!

Interested customers may pre-register at https://berkeleylibrarysc.org/summer-reading/. Additional dates include:
• Summer Reading June 1 – August 3.
• Prizes may be redeemed June 8 – August 8.
• Give Our Books New Looks Contest: June 1 – August 31.

Visit Summer Reading for details and reading logs. e-books, e-magazines, e-audiobooks, and Children's Audio-Enabled books, VOX and Wonderbooks, are also welcomed and encouraged for reading. Register for BCLS Summer Reading 2026: Unearth a Story, where early literacy, children, teens, and adult customers can participate June 1 – August 3. In addition, customers of all ages can earn prizes to be redeemed at any BCLS library from June 8 – August 8. Also, Summer Reading features a lineup of performers including Tim Sonefelt: Paleo Palooza and Miss September & Friends: Adventures with Snowgran: Shake Rattle and Roar!
