Wow, I can’t believe how tunnel visioned I get sometimes!

🔵 digital detox of cleaning out unneeded photos to free up memory & space
🔵 working on updating online booking & rebranded website
🔵 remember to post on social…the biggest back burner

Well I’m a work in progress human.

But here’s a big change from earlier this fall. It had been months since she left unhappy from her last salon visit elsewhere. Too blonde. Not enough natural red enhanced. Too long to help spring her curls.

Started with a cut so we could make any necessary adjustments Ina. Few days when she came back for color. I look forward to adding even more reds, but kept it more bright & blonde around the face with such a big transformation.

Would you be brave to make such a bold change? It’s not too late to embrace those fall vibes or bring a new you to discuss around the holiday gatherings ahead! 🍁

It’s always good to try new things!

Through a group I’m in hosted & taught by techy mastermind to help guide hairstylist to use more automation to better serve clients, recently a new idea struck him to have round table conversations with some of us in the group to air on his podcast, The Modern Hairstylist.

We chatted for about an hour on the specific policy of late cancellations, but trust that a whole lot of conversations were happening too! It was so much fun to vibe together & bounce ideas/situations off each other all while we are still learning & growing personally as well as professionally!

Can’t wait for its release to see how it’s all pieced together. Thanks for the oppertunity to guest speak Hunter!

Today was an abnormal crazy busy day off, but I’m so grateful found time to invite me into her salon after yesterday’s class!

I’ve been wanting to do a scan of my scalp health for quite sometime, and even after freshly shampooing & blowdrying to dash out the door to arrive 6min late 😬 this was soooo interesting to me!

The first picture is their salon station setup, handcrafted metal frame work from old ships/shipyard. Each mirror was a different shape that the stylists work from…so cool 😎

The following picts are of my scalp from all over. The extra shiny dark hairs show product buildup;
The white scale is my dry flaky scalp that needs more regular exfoliating (way to get me to shampoo more frequently 😭)
The last shows density, aka where I’m thinning.

The past decade of my own hair journey has been wild. From hormonal changes, more wisdom tinsles poppin’ through, to noticeable thinning and loss. I’m glad we’re in an era of scalp health. Stylists have been saying for years only healthy hair can grow out of a healthy scalp. And this has me ready to embrace more personal practices & continuing my own education in scalp health!

Thank you so much for this extra bonus to yesterday, Tanji!! You are the type of educator that makes me miss the education game, such a strong passion to share with others!🥰
